Snowed here again overnight and we just had another heavy shower pass through. I have to say everything looks awesome so I thought I would share a few photos with you all. Current depth is 14 cm!
It has been snowing off and on all day here. Just checked the depth on the garden table and it is sitting at 9 cm. I have exams on Wednesday and Thursday so I am hoping I can drive into them without any major problems. Fingers crossed!
Snow has persisted here since Friday, albeit a bit slushy and messy at times. Drove home through a heavy showers which has covered everything nicely again. Plus I'm looking at those showers to our north with anticipation!
Snow here at this time of year isn't uncommon but lying snow certainly is! Westhill is prone to quite a lot of snow at times in comparison to other nearby areas, I guess that is mostly down to the little extra elevation it has. Snow was certainly bad here back in the 10/11 winter but I guess it was most other places as well.
Ill try and get you guys some photos tomorrow before it all disappears again.
Hehe, sadly it is gone off now, guess I can't hog it all to myself. Need to correct my rubbish estimation on depth from earlier, it's actually a very impressive 4 inches on the grass in the back garden. =)
chionomaniac I am roughly 180m asl.
Joined last year but didn't post but I thought I would share what is quite incredible weather for this time of year. It has been snowing heavily here for the last two hours and there is about 1 and a half inches and it is still falling heavily. I live in Westhill which is about 10 miles inland west of Aberdeen. I took some photos which I will share in a minute if I can work out how.
