  1. Scratch the last post - we have light snow falling now. Temp up to -1.7c/-2.1c
  2. -1.8c/-2.2c - freezing fog but no snow falling - having checked multiple lights and CCTV.
  3. We are at 0.1c/-0.6c, and very cloudy. Looking towards the NE again.
  4. -0.6c/-1.1c - had a few snow flurries overnight, and it was baked hard to the windscreen. Looking like a grey morning for us.
  5. We had about 2-3cm of wet slushy snow this morning. Temp has risen a bit 1.1c/0.7c. Looking at my CCTV, it turned to snow around 3am and was quite heavy until 5am, then petered out. Better than nothing. Now having a heavy rain shower. 1c cooler and it would have been quite an epic fall.
  6. T 1.5c D0.4c Sleet with snow mixed in during the heavier bursts. Dog had a covering of flakes, but not settling anywhere else.
  7. T/D 2.5c/1.7c - slowly dropping. Precipitation breaking up a bit into bands. Got to get lucky at some point.
  8. temp 2.9c and DP 1.8c, slowly getting there. It has been drizzling.
  9. 0.5c here with a DP -0.6c, if only we can drag some precipitation from further West, we might get a dusting.
  10. Got up to a maximum of 1.7c here, and now down at 1.1c. Grey and foggy all day.
  11. Glad to be posting again, after a snow drought last winter. Like @SteveMurr, I am up in the North Downs and saw naff all snow last night. Got down to about 2.1c, but not cold enough for snow and then the precipitation left. Maximum temp here today 4.2c. I notice the Met Office forecast for the South East suggests that there could be some snow for the North Downs in showers during tonight. Not going to stare at the lamppost, but might have a peek every now and then. Current temp is 2.7c, with DP at 1.1c, so going in the right direction.
  12. Mammatus clouds overhead but looks like we will miss the main storms. 28.9c at nearly 9pm is bonkers
  13. Drove from Halstead to Knockholt to Westerham Hill and now down to Sevenoaks. Altitude is key. It’s snowing heavily in Sevenoaks but not settling well yet, halfway up Polhill it turns very white and it’s icy slush in the road. Currently 0.0c at Halstead
  14. Down to 0.3c and steady snow again, this is looking more promising than last night
  15. 0.4c and falling quickly, almost no snow melt. could get icy later
  16. Proper fat snow 3A8077E6-0E6A-45D2-A700-3CEAC09DD726.MOV
