  1. Agree with the 2nd bit, not the first. Most of the return is empty and 80% of areas are in line for nothing or very little (AS IT STANDS).
  2. See my post above, Andy - I agree. Maybe it's been SO poor that that is now taken as being in some sense a good radar. But it really isn't atm.
  3. Let's be honest - while some many have a nice line headed for them, any objective look at that N Sea can only conclude that as it stands, it is really poor. Think back to E'lies and NE'lies where it was packed and it was very hard to avoid a good dumping. Or Scotland today. Hope it improves during the night, but, personal luck aside, that is not a good radar return.
  4. Until what time are we supposed to be in the firing line? Because as recent nights have made painfully clear, it takes ages for stuff to come in, and there's comes a point when you look at the radar, which is pants, and realise that's basically it, with no time for anything else to form that can hit you before morning.
  5. OK so I understand.. the showers are forming better around the Morpeth/Newc line.. will they form better further south as the night goes on? And will the winds veer further to the NE or is that it?
  6. OK, so zooming out and looking at the radar (bad move), am I right in thinking that the heavy showers that are piling and have been piling into Dundee/Edinburgh/etc are basically what we thought we'd get?
  7. The Boro to Newcastle gap is really clear there. Seems to be opening up... how will it fill? (Genuine question.)
  8. We have snow. Blimey, imagine what we would have had with this kind of snow for hours. And before anyone says it, I am NOT popping into the Scotland thread to find out...
  9. Yes, I saw! Nice. A good 5 minutes. :) Blue sky now. (Yes, I'm going to use this gif as much as is humanly possible.)
