    heavy snow ....thats what metoffice still say for Essex currently looking out the window/at radar returns may be better in short-term forecasts then multi-million pound models ! lol very very fine snow here atm

    what annoys me about MetOffice is not their ability to get it right/wrong- its a modelling nightmare and you'll never get it right but very very few updates - I mean MetO site still showing heavy snow for here- Chelmsford now, and for 7pm - is that accurate ? I'd say not - so why not update ? People choose to leave work early etc because of the weather and associated weather forecasts - so should be as accurate as possible, not have the odd sporadic update ?

    forecasts were about 5-10cm out here like 0 instead of 5-10cm can't get much more wrong mind you- it did snow - so 1/10

    ^^ the middle of the pivot is definatley not heading due south though looks ssw to me

    in fact if anything one of the main areas of heavy precipitation may pivot further west than Essex again not sure why the concern

    not sure why everyone feeling like game over tonight as looking at radar still looks good for East-London eastwards I'd say
