Had torrential rain before for about 30 minutes, no thunder, bit disappointing really.

Nothing so far, off too bed - not had a decent storm here yet so hopefully we will.

Had a sort of storm ealier but didn't last long and only a few odd rumbles not a full on thunderstorm, it would be nice to see a light show. Looks like some of the Midlands are having all the fun.

No storms and no Rain here, I would of been slightly disappointed not to see a storm but MCFC won the champions league so that was more important. Gonna be a hot one today!

Decided to get a take away and a nice bottle of red, I didn't get my hopes up being where I am but reflecting on 2010 and can't believe it was 13 years ago since I seen a proper snowfall. Only the northwest could get 2 days of snow and have nothing to show for it, looks like you guys with altitude are doing well, I may go stand on a chair out side

Good luck, nice to see our region we all deserve it! lots of small flakes here in the city centre but obviously not sticking, I'm not expecting to see any lying snow due to be being in the city but nice to see it during the day, always feels wasted when it just wets the ground ha. Already looking at somewhere else to live and it will be a much higher altitude.

Dark clouds, slipped through the gap been so unlucky with these storms had a couple of showers and that's it, enjoy who ever is seeing them - one day I might see one haha, going to Italy Friday and there is a decent chance I may see one.

Torrential rain for a good 20 mins, im amazed how we had an amber on friday and only a yellow today, the rain alone warrants an amber. Looking at the Manchester Evening News lots of problems now being reported.

Highest I've seen the Irwell since i moved in to the centre (was only 8 months to be fair ha) going to be some really bad flooding for somw areas today.

Can see why the red warnings was given and thats where the strongest winds was forecast so thats good. could of been more fatalities if them red warnings was not given. IMBY - was only really gusty for an hour and the amber could of been a yellow but due to the nature of the beast and how it was difficult to know it's route can't really blame the Met Office. -
Don't really understand the Amber warning, an hour of increased gusts but had more from a yellow warning. Was hopeful of seeing something slightly more dramatic.

Got a little rough here! it went still for about an hour and came back with anger. If this is the starter Friday's main course could be erm interesting.
