EPIC snowfall here in Knowle, at least three inches in the past couple of hours & still coming down!
EPIC performance from Villa tonight, 5-1 winners (Benteke hat-trick) - Wembley here we come!
Note : neither of the above statements may be factually correct.

Half-time update:
Zero snow here in Knowle from what I can tell, despite what the radar suggests.
Temp +0.4, DP -0.2
Villa leading 1-0 (Benteke) - c'mon Villa!!!!

Serves you right, for bringing back bad Villa memories from the past!
Righto, I'm off to watch the first hour or so of the match - I'll be back once the game is abandoned due to blizzard conditions at Villa Park......
Bish
Blimey it's approaching fast - when I sat down about an hour ago the northern edge was still over Banbury.
Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing really.
Bish
Just realised - falling snow tends to mess up my Sky reception, and tonight Villa are playing Bradford City in the League Cup semi 2nd leg.
Actually, being a Villa fan, it might be a blessing in disguise if I can't view the match!!!

I'm adopting the attitude that, like Sunday, even a few extra snowflakes will be considered a major bonus.
Very little has thawed here the past couple of days so any overnight snow, no matter how light, will simply be a welcome top-up
Bish
Thanks Luke / Picog - could be very interesting in that case, as it looks quite beefy at the moment. Even if it loses some of its intensity as it travels northwards, it could still provide us with some fun & games by the looks of it

I'm trying to work out where "our" overnight snow might currently be on the radar - perhaps the PPN which is now moving in across the south east?
Very difficult to work out at the moment.

Yuck, two words that really don't belong in the same sentence - "cold rain"
Just look at all that beautiful heavy snow currently ploughing through the south-west - up until a couple of days ago, that had our names on it.

Latest BBC forecast looks very promising for overnight & tomorrow morning for all areas south and west of Brum
Those of us more to the east side of Brum will need to keep our fingers crossed & stay glued to the radar by the look of things.
Bish
If we do see any snow, I can't see it being especially heavy to be honest. I believe areas to the south and west are more firmly in the firing line than the Midlands
Bish
Excellent if that could happen - the one thing missing from this cold spell so far.
If most of us do indeed miss out on some extra snow tomorrow, then plunging night-time temps would be a nice consolation
Bish
The local Met Office forecast for Solihull chops & changes so often each day, it lacks credibility IMO. Tuesday now showing as 'mist', apparently.........?
It'll show something totally different by the morning no doubt
Bish
Hmmm, I don't remember that one? Maybe I just missed out here.
Good call re Feb 2007 by the way - that was our first significant snowfall here for about six years.
