  1. This could be an interesting night. I hate going to bed until I know there is a cover of snow at least.
  2. Big green blob over St Andrews now tracking south West. Pattern has changed.
  3. Light snow ❄ Is this the front pushing South West...hope so.
  4. Well the forecast had snow central belt at 9pm! Gone! It also had the front stopping at Fife and slipping south wrong again. Looking at what's happening it isn't coming south at all.
  5. Front still forecast to build from N Sea and sink south. However it's painfull as it's still nudging north. Should be movement the other way by now.
  6. The forecast is for the band to stall and sink south. I would give it until at least 10pm before deciding it's track.
  7. Came through Cumbernauld white out. Got to Larbert sleet. Got up here wet snow but not lying.Aghhhh!
  8. Currently rain the Weeg! When I get home to Central Scotland tonight I expect 2 inches of snow.....
  9. It's rain all the way on the traffic cams so far. Even on the higher ones.
  10. Orange warning for East Southern Scotland! Good thing is temperatures are on the slide so our prospects today are better than the last marginal events.
  11. Yeh saw that Bairn. This morning they weren't sure how far past Lanark it would get. If it gets here and stalls then it's game on. As long as the uppers play ball!
  12. I will honestly settle for 2 days of lying snow before the winter is out. That's how desperate things are at the moment. I will be delighted if I am wrong and I wake up to snow in the morning!
  13. Nothing but rain and temps are far too high at the moment. Not expecting much other than snow showers later in the week. This has been my worst winter since 1988- 1989 I think when I were a lad.
  14. Well still waiting for my first day of lying snow. Was below zero until 3pm yesterday and still it rained. I swear it's got to be minus 5 in Falkirk before it snows.
  15. It did snow last night but the usual Falkirk triangle stopped it getting heavy.
  16. More pishing rain. Yet to record a day of lying snow this winter!
  17. Seems to be a the radar fault. Shows precipitation ahead of where it actually is. I recken the snow is half an hour behind where it is showing on the radar.
