    Temp still dropping here in West Manchester 1.2 c

    Temp dropped to 1.5c here in west Manchester and light snow falling and blowing in the wind

    1.9c here and a bit confused. Woke up expecting a covering and nothing at all in Manchester!! Has it stalled or has it missed Manchester? It is howling outside though

    2.5c now and the wind is getting stronger. By the time the front arrives I estimate we will be around 1.5c at this rate.

    Well considering the cloud cover is coming in the temp here in west manchester is falling away nicely 2.8c now

    3.1c here with humidity rising so the front is moving in. A late night for all I think and it must be the biggest predicted snow fall for us in Manchester this year. And what about all that cold air coming in next week!!!

    Interesting to see the BBC is warning of complacency over the next few days. Telling everyone the cold is on it's way back

    Wow, what a difference 24hours can make! At this time we were hovering at freezing with it all kicking off and now we are standing at 5.4c with that naughty atlantic bringing in band after band of rain. Lets see how long the atlantic will stay rowdy before it calms down and retreats and the beast from the east with the north helping pushes the cold back in. Give it a week me thinks. This has to be the last push before we say good by to winter and hello spring.

    Well its all over the fat lady has sung for a few days as she moves east and the atlantic batters us for a few days. Me thinks five days and the cold will be back!
