    I would say it looks like a snowy sky as well and unless the front is coming in early which I don't hink is happening. Temp now 2.8c and still falling

    Just had a walk to the Post Office something sleety is in the air and the temp is now 2.9c and falling. It has become dark as well. Tomorrow will be interesting in the Greater Manchester area. I think the mild air will find it difficult to push in so don't be surprised If the snow is prolonged and deep

    I have to agree with Sparkle the north does look threatening and the temp has dropped to 3.1c

    It is falling away at 3.2c, I wonder where we will be at 4pm!

    It started out as one of those cold but nice days and went to 4.1c now heavy cloud has moved in and dropped to 3.5c

    West Manchester has dropped slightly to 4.2c so If the rate continues when the rain does arrive it will turn to snow readily me thinks

    Yep same here with cloud now building and temp dropping from 5.2c to 4.7c As a side line I had an email from two friends, one in Boston USA and Toronto who are expecting upto 2 foot of snow from tomorrow and into Monday with strong winds. Worst storm in 5 years. TV and radio have started to advise people to get ready. Listening to two internet radio stations Toronto and Boston and its warnings all the way with both cities preparing to shut down.

    Hi, I have family and friends in Toronto and Boston who tell me the storm from Friday is the biggest in five years and its all over the radio and tv with preparation under way.

    It has been snowing here in Kearsley since 5pm and it is getting fairly deep, just wondered how much is left up there!! have to leave for work at 5am tomorrow!!

    Just great! As things start to get interesting I an jetting to the Canaries tomorrow. Just heard that Toronto is expecting a record high of +13 on Saturday. I shall be following you all for two weeks while away so good luck with the outputs for the coldies and snowies out there!

    Well it has managed - 4.5 here, fairly impressive for the first and 2nd of Dec

    -1.5 here and falling. Temp is now falling away with no breeze

    Well at 2pm we were up to 6c. And now dropping away well fast with 3.2c. west Manchester nr Bolton will be well cold tonight! Installed some trace heating wires in my garage for the water pipes. I got a burst pipe in 2010!

    Well we continue to fall here 1c and car is starting to freeze so it will be very cold by 6am when I have to get going
