Am i correct in saying a return of the cold from the 8th??? Lets open the debate...... P.s....before anymore says anything - I just look @ loads of different sources of information. (pure amature).

When does the next episode of cold guys and gals??? I know the 14 day forecast is looking mild but we are still early into the winter!!!

Griited tonight. Caerphilly had 2 inch dump between 8pm-8.30pm. Come from nowhere. Not good when the site had just been snow cleared !!!!

Well guys. I have gritted port talbot, Cardiff docks, llantrisant and I'm now in Newport and so far no snow to report - over and out

We have all been here before....... No snow event for me on low levels. That's not me being a weather pro, just a punters guess. Long term forecast looks really cold for the next 14 days!!!! Plenty of chances.. 14 days of gold, I mean cold.

Think I better get my gritters ready over the next two days...... Let's do this.....

Cold Cold is coming in. Cant say for sure on snow, no one can really especially in this part of the world (lamp post watchin on the low grounds), but it does appear we will actually gettin a winter!!! Im not surprised by this, I was gritting in April last season. Winter is still in its infancy. Mother nature aint gonna let us get through a winter without a good couple of weeks of cold. Its not the case of will it?, its when!..... whether it be a significant block of sustained cold or staggered shorter interval periods, we appear to very much still be in the autumn cycle at present. Being a rugby player, I have many many games called off in February, and March even for that matter, due to frozen pitches. Long way to go yet guys.....

14th of January onwards is looking cold...........really really cold............

Looking at your models - anyone know when any significant cold is coming back? Are ppl right in saying the 2nd/3rd week of January? Cheers Weather buddies......

Could have a little cold period on Christmas day and the days after. If its cold - its likely to be relatively dry........clear skies, cold days/nights. Too far away to be sure though.

Thats the information I got. Mnay have been saying thatour 'core' winter will be middle of January through until the middle of February. Everything up until now has been a bonus !
