So my weather buddies.......will I have a break off the gritting over the Christmas period??? Im absolutely shattered zzzzzzzz sticks keeping eyes open!

I think this Winter has been good so far. Last Winter I didnt grit until first week of January (made me worry!!), I have already been out 10 times this winter. Dont be dis-heartened - its early days.

Just got in.......rained from 8pm in Llantrisant and hammered down since driving home along M4 to Neath. wheres all salt i put down??!!!!

Mild as hell here in Neath. The car therm said +6.0 @ 6.20am ! Looking @ temps over the next few days, looks like this wont last long. Long term forecasting for next week looks really cold. Ordered the boys bodywarmers yesterday! Bring it on !

I think we will get snow, but it will stick as high as Merthyr. Neath/Swansea/Bridgend/Cardiff will see it, but it wont stick! We are just to low and close to the coast. Im not a weather pro - just my feeling.....

Morning All, Everyones raving over the 1st of December, but is this for Snow or just really cold temperatures? Im on the coast low down, and all my sites are also close to the coast(along the M4), what will it look like for here? If snow is forecast - is it likely it will be the hills only? Cheers

Alright guys/girls. Been out gritting early. Just got home. Only 4 sites to do but better than nothing. Noticeably cold already. My jeeps window is freezing up!

Thanks for the feedback guys. My business (which is a welsh business not a national !) grits some gas stations/power stations as we as your usual office sites etc etc. the GS temp only has to hit zero degrees (red alert) at any point during the day (24 hour sites) and its all systems go (they don't like risk!). tbh i'm flat out anyway with other stuff, but I still have to be prepared !!
