  1. I known I'm moaning, but it might as well not be snowing. its all powdery dandruff that isn't settling.
  2. unbelievable carnage. Never expected anything like this here!!! This is yesterday pm BTW 20210207_155219.mp4
  3. Not holding out for much here on the south coast, it seems that Brighton, a little to the east of me, seems to be the western extent of any snow today and yesterday. the local bbc forecast did show some snow showers for us later on this afternoon and through the evening, but probably won't amount to much if anything. it ain't over till its over, though
  4. I think my sensor is up the creek tbh. it said the dew point was 2. no way lol
  5. It’s now February 2300, we’re in tier 700. Worthing has finally got to a centimetre of snow, after 279 years of continuous dandruff “snow,” much to Matt Hancock’s disgust, as any more than 0.5cm is only permitted in the first 650 tiers. Gavin Williamson is keeping the schools closed in all tiers as a precaution, for “health and safety” reasons.
  6. Dandruff bits in Worthing. either snow properly or don’t snow at all, Mother Nature!
  7. Latest beeb forecast has a cheeky snow shower over Worthing later on today, East Sussex is even better placed for snow showers. Lucky lot.
  8. Can anyone confirm temps and dews in the Worthing area, have been having issues with the humidity / temp sensor on weather station recently, currently it’s showing 3.3c with a dew of 1c.
  9. Looks like the snow is coming as far as Eastbourne. so near yet so far
  10. Just went outside to put the rubbish in the bin, notable binned items include all weather related apps on phone, and the daily mail / express
  11. Not that NW's "will it" are anything to go by, but according to it I have a 4% chance of snow tomorrow, and a 95% chance on Monday.
  12. I have come to terms with the dusting at best we'll get here, we've already had our once in a generation snowfall twice in the last 13 or so years.
  13. If I were you I’d grab a bin and Chuck NW’s “will it” predictors right at the bottom of the grabbed bin. in my experience they’re useless, for example, I’ve had storms when the predictor said 0%.... I’m sure the snow predictor is in the same category
  14. Is supposed to rain later, will this not ruin the chances of snow settling over the next days, if the ground is wet?
  15. The only significant snowfall I remember in my lifetime was around March/April ish in either 2007/8 where we got a streamer, and in December 2009/January 2010. We got a few flurries in 2018 with the beast from the east but the snow amounts was nothing noteworthy in my books. Hopefully, we’ll get a stonking streamer that sets itself up to bury the south coast in snow. This would go some way for Mother Nature to repair the mental damage she did on me last year, with a measley one or two claps of thunder throughout the entirety of 2020. ??
  16. Tragic that I live on the coast! Will miss most or all of the snow!
  17. Living bang on the coast, I’m in he wrong setup for snow! Need a beast from the east and a Thames streamer pronto!
