Im confused, someone is moaning on the sunday/monday thread about there being rain in cromer, how big is cromer?

Here in nottinghamshire, we had a very light snow shower which lasted about 2 minutes last night, but every flake that fell settled, giving a speckled look of white, mixed with frost and ice.

Temp now at 2.9C partly cloudy skies.

Partly cloudy skies, had two sleet showers today this morning, with lincoln forecasted scattered snow showers tonight - none yet. Currently 3.3C.

Sleet Shower at 14:20 lasting 10 minutes, with fine snow mixed in.

Currently 8.7C in nottinghamshire - extrememly mild..

Currently 7.2C here in nottinghamshire, 100% cloud cover and light intemitant rain.

Just rain here now in nottinghamshire, and looking at the radar showers seem to be leaving the lincoln area, disappointing.

Nottinghamshire: Current Temp: 5.9C and falling Feels Like: 3C Overcast and dull with light patchy rain.

Bright start today, with temperatures of 9C - morning high. Clouding over throughout the day, now very cloudy with patchy rain/drizzle, miserable, with current temp of 10.3C.

Cloudy throughout the day today, never showed signs of the cloud breaking, but noticable temperature rise throughout the day, now 8C, with widespread cloud but dry.

Been cloudy and damp all day here, very disappointing with only a bit of sleet between 6am till half past..

Cold and damp here with an overnight low of -4C. Currently 2.2C and rising, looks like any oppurtunites for snow in the midlands have passed.

No snow to report, was clear earlier, but scattered cloud now forming..

Dry, clear, and cold here in nottingham - temperature of 0.2C

Nottingham, small amount of snow still lying, but most thawed overnight amazingly with minimum temps of -3.3C! Anyhow, no more snow today, but am looking forward to saturday evening, when the front from the south hits the cold air.

Rain has got worse now the band is in full swing and even a rumble or two of thunder has been mixed in! Rain is now heavy, turning torrential at times, and looking at the weather we could have this for more than 3 hours yet or so says BBC 1.

Nothing more than persistant drizzly-moderate rain here in the midlands, not even signs of thunder of heavy precip. Looks like just an autumn day with drizzly rain and dull skys .

Constant Thunder now and it seems to be getting closer too! No rain as of yet, but it seems iminent now that we will see some hefty precipitation at some point in the near future.

Things have now cleared away in the midlands, things in southern ireland and scotland are looking nasty. The showers around the midlands seem to be dieing out, but I should still hopefully get a few heavy burts before the days out,

Been going around 10mins for the current storm. Rain going from torrential to heavy all the time now, with thunder still occasional. Rain seems worse now, and flooding is starting to occur outside my front door on my drive, and the outside road. After only 10 mins this means flooding could get much worse, as according the current 1400 radar much more showers often heavy are only just starting to hit the midlands. We got storms a few days ago with pretty bad flooding, but there seems to be a chance of something more this afternoon as the showers seem slow moving too!

Heavy rain and thunder just started here in the east mids, darker clouds moving in so hopefully torrential rain may be on the cards! Keep you posted.
