Cats cannot it's impossible(they lack that part of the brain) for them but most other animals can

With respect, that's absolutely ridiculous. They have the same parts of the brain that humans do in regards to emotions namely the hippocampus, amygdala and hippocampus to name the main 3.

Plus if you've ever owned a cat you would tell they are perfectly capable of love.

Edit: I see you say you meant snakes, nevermind.

Further analysis on the trend to drier March/Aprils from Dan Holley, WeatherQuest:

March-April rainfall combined appears to be trending more extreme over time - often at the very dry end of the spectrum (10 of the past 20 years), but also occasionally very wet. The increase in average anomaly suggests there is more variability in recent decades.

I was saying just today it seems in recent years April has become the dry month. Can't remember the last time it properly rained here although you'd think the opposite with how rapidly the lawn is growing!

  3. August is the main memory that springs to mind this year as it's the year my sister got married. I remember the weather in the second week was absolutely awful, very windy and rainy and her wedding was the 14th. I remember waking up on the 14th to beautiful sunshine and no wind, it was a perfect summer day for the wedding, before heading into rain and wind again the next day as we flew out on holiday. I recall sitting in Gatwick departure lounge watching the aircraft battling with the weather and doing several go arounds. The horrific Boscastle floods happened in the days after.

  4. I remember the heatwave that hit Europe in the Summer. We we're in Rhodes at the time and there was a thing where all the shops apart from food shops closed because it was too hot and the roads had started to go sticky due to the tarmac melting. It was stifling. Felt like you were breathing in air from an oven. For the two days that the order was in we spent the entire day in the water in the shade. I remember flying back to the UK and seeing so much grass that had dried out and turned yellow which was unusual to see.
