The strong heat is the main protagonist of this month in peninsular Italy, where, as already happened in May, June will probably be among the top 3 or 4 hottest in the historical series.
I have been using this site since 2010:

What's the most reliable site to look up the weather for the next week? Heading to Lake Lugano/Como.

This weather is much more like it! Hopefully it'll be rounded off with a good storm.

I just can't believe how cold the wind still is and we're almost in June! Lovely in the sun but as soon as there's a breeze it feels so chilly!

That was an intense 5 minutes we had. Huge hail and intense lightning.

Thunder started here in Medway. Unexpected.

Overall a nice little storm but the May 2018 (I think?) was the best one I've had in recent years.
-
Was overhead with constant flashes and some booming thunder for about 5 minutes and now moving off. Hopefully we'll get round 2. Wish this had come a couple of hours earlier as I'm fighting sleep now!

I must be just a tad too south as it's dead still and medium rain.
And it's here now but no over head lighting yet.

Driving rain here now with really quite strong winds - still fair bit of thunder and lightning

OMFG!! Who just said this was dying off?? Close CG with textbook gun shot thunder!! Whoop!
Me! Significantly reduced flashes here ATM. Hopefully it'll pep up.
Did see a great CG strike in the distance a second ago.

Looooooong rumble of thunder.
But looks like it's dying off.

I think those are lines from where lightning detectors are picking up strikes from
3 minutes ago, Harry said:Detectors that have picked up the strike. You can turn them off.

Doubt that very much - my reading is they’re on track for just east of IoW
My neck of the SE then!

Really exploding now although track looks to be more west now. Think the SE might miss out here.

Very convective out there tonight. Lots of undulatus about and thick heavy spots of rain here and there.

Don't think there was anything here last night. I'm usually woken by storms but maybe there was?

This heat is absolutely fine abroad. I can go about my day breaking a light sweat at most, if at all. Here I'm just a constant sweaty mess. Still, it's nice to have some heat for a few days before it cools down again
