Well what a lovely day. Shame I have spent most of it indoors with food poisoning
I forced myself to go out in sun a little earlier and did a bit of weeding and now I feel a lot better so I'm going to attempt to eat dinner later.
On the plus side just bought our new motor!
Wait, what. Who has left, why? PM please to stop it being spread on here, this makes me sad.

Just been outside to find a confused bumble bee bumbling about in the garden. Bless it.

Funnily enough we're considering getting an A3 or new Mazda 3.

I see the Daily Mail is talking of inches of snow chaos tomorrow.
Which of course can be translated to rain and a bit of snizzle if we're lucky.

They sky looked amazing just a few minutes ago, a very stormy shade of yellowy grey which my camera couldn't capture properly.
In other news. Good news! Just got off the phone to the weather Gods and they've agreed that due to the disappointing lack of snow this winter, that we shall be rewarded with an abundance of good old fashioned MCS this summer. I do hope they keep their end of the deal.

In an ideal world. Would be nice to have a week of full on Arctic conditions with snow that means no one can get to work and we'll have to play in the snow (but magically emergency services will be fine). Get it over and done with and it will magically then disappear with no slush or ice and then spring can properly start.I'm still feeling bitterly disappointed not to have got the 100 days of snow (I think the use by date for that is today) the Excess promised... Screen-Shot-2014-01-10-at-17.24.15.png ...but now with the meteorological start of spring just around the corner I'm hoping for a taste of early summer..... is there anyone who would still like a cold snap before we wave winter 2013/14 goodbye?
But as that is never going to happen I'd say I'm ready for summer although I'd still be happy to see a full on snow event and none of that not even trying to snow rubbish.

Their backside. The daily express couldn't tell the weather forecast from their elbow. Where is the three months of record breaking snow. Makes you wonder where they get their forcecasts from? Any suggestions

Well you'd never that just a few hours ago it was torrential rain and gale force winds. Blue skies and sun out there now!

Surprised we haven't had more damage to be honest. I really thought we would lose roof tiles as they were slamming like I've never heard. Neighbour lost a fence panel and we've lost our BBQ cover, but that's it.
I think Medway has avoided the worst of windstorms in the last year or so and last night was by far the worst one we've had in years.

It's still going here. Not as strong, but plenty strong enough!

Not sure I'll get the choice, Loopy. It's booming against the house and the roof tiles are playing a symphony! Its crazy isn't? You staying up for now? I am

Blimmin heck! I will be shocked if I wake up to find no damage. The gusts are near constant and the atmosphere is so warm outside. Literally one word describes it......eerie.

Many are diverting which would be the most sensible option right now. A lot heading to more northern airports.Planes are circling all over the place at the moment http://www.flightradar24.com/

Is what you're having coming our way or is it going more North East?My god..no more please this is not funny

I guess Medway has been pretty sheltered compared to elsewhere with the winds as this is by far worse than what we've had in years whereas others are saying it's not as bad as Christmas Eve yet.

Wind is way worse here than forecast.
-
Certainly windier than it has been in a long time out there. Easily beating Xmas Eve at the moment.

Absolutely monsooning it down and we've lost our SKY. Huge gust of wind too!

I take my previous comment back. It is torrential rain here atm.
-
Not a sign of wind or rain here in Medway.
-
Can't say it's particularly any more windy or rainy than usual here in Medway at the moment. Are we missing it?
-
Lot's of wind but no more than what we've been having recently. No T&L or hail.
Don't k ow how we haven't lost roof tiles yet, they are becoming more rattly with every storm.

Erm, it not just me that thinks that looks like something else is it?
First time today of this year I felt to hot in the car and had the cooler on. So looking forward to BBQ season and being warm late into the evening.
