I see two strikes on the radar now. Not sure I would call it fantastic considering how many there have been across the south today.

No lightning at all on the radar or lightning maps?!

No showers at all this morning. Grass was the driest it has been for months, so I get the strimmer out and wind some new cable on it, then it starts hailing/raining and a rumble of thunder. That's that until it fully dries out! Doodle joined me in the porch.

Grim all day today, and more grim all day tomorrow. Grim!

Sunny spells and light air helped the temp climb to 17.3°C here, making it the warmest day of the year so far.

Ian Ballinger No, but it also depends on what you whether you want detailed access to your data? The new console/screen doesn't have an API, so data cannot be retrieved directly from it. You can get data from weatherlink.com using software, but only at 15 minute intervals unless you have a paid subscription. If you have a WeatherLink live hub, you can access the real-time data from it using software, such as Cumulus MX or WeatherDisplay. I have both, but my console is just purely for decoration. My WeatherLink live does all the work of uploading and saving data, as well as being connected to Cumulus Mx.

That doesn't have a screen. It sends data to weatherlink.com and it's also a data logger. You can view live data using the weatherlink app, but it doesn't have historical data, you can only view that at weatherlink.com.

Just 2.5 hours of sunshine, but it has felt cold and horrible in the strong wind.

The sensor is kaput. When the temp/humidity sensor starts failing on the Davis Vantage Pro2, the same thing happens - humidity readings go pear shaped.

Net weather accumulation map suggests between 38 and 48mm here. 27mm here in 24 hours, so that's quite an exaggeration.

26.2mm in the last 24 hours here. The UKV was showing this rain on one of yesterday's runs, but I didn't see it on any forecast.

Only 4 days in to March and the monthly rain total is already at 44mm.

5.6mm of rain in just over an hour. Turned quite heavy for a time.

Crackerjack Happy birthday! Weird that you have had a notification for that. It says 0% for me and maybe in the far north of Scotland.
