  1. If clear skies are possible Monday night in to the early hours of Tuesday, there could be some very low minima for our region.
  2. Temperature ranging from 5.3 to 5.9°C since midnight. A very nondescript day. Just gave the bird feeder a good clean out and bought a 20KG bag of seed to keep it topped up.
  3. Here's a picture I took of a diagnostic screen when I had anemometer issues. Check out the screen burn-in https://ibb.co/z5W7DtV
  4. Not quite sure how you've come to that conclusion? lol The raw GFS give zero snow, and all rain for my location. It's not a good set up for it.
  5. I like the change in the forum theme. It'll be the most snow I'll be seeing!
  6. As per 2018. I remember the build up, and I also remember the meltdowns some had when it was us that saw some of the best of that weather. lol
  7. Using this thread to reply, as to not fill up the model thread with even more off-topic posts. The Met Office do use the GFS to compare to their own model data. It has been shown in their videos plenty of times.
  8. Just opened up a large tin of Cadbury's Roses, only to find that there's no orange creme or the blue caramel ones. That's ridiculous!
  9. In contrast, down here, only Monday shows a sub-zero minimum. Every day shows overcast and no minimums below zero, and then rain and milder temps by Wednesday. lol
  10. Mine has the worst screen burn-in I have ever seen on such a device.
  11. Only dropped 1.5° since 5pm now. It looks like the coldest temps will be just before sunrise tomorrow. I'm a little surprised it didn't fall away quicker as the charts yesterday were showing zero by 6pm, it's clear skies here as well.
  12. Not really the wisest of post you've made, considering you were doing the same thing when there were those who were looking for hot weather last year.
  13. I was expecting the temperature to have dropped quickly when the sun went down. It's only dropped 1° since 5pm.
  14. My two penn'orth regarding how far north or south the low pressure goes next week; lots of members in other threads saying the models tend to correct them further south, nearer the time. However, look back a few months when areas north of the region were forecast dry weather, only for it to end up very wet, due to low pressure correcting north at the 11th hour. That would be my concern regarding where the line is drawn on rain vs. snow.
  15. A low of 1.2°C this morning/ Bright with the odd sunny spell. 3.9°C Is there a Met Office 'deep dive' video today? Could be a good watch?!
  16. Just had a little dusting of balls here, as you can see from the shed roof.. Garden-00-194855-194916.mp4
