    Only dropped 1.5° since 5pm now. It looks like the coldest temps will be just before sunrise tomorrow. I'm a little surprised it didn't fall away quicker as the charts yesterday were showing zero by 6pm, it's clear skies here as well.

    I was expecting the temperature to have dropped quickly when the sun went down. It's only dropped 1° since 5pm.

    My two penn'orth regarding how far north or south the low pressure goes next week; lots of members in other threads saying the models tend to correct them further south, nearer the time. However, look back a few months when areas north of the region were forecast dry weather, only for it to end up very wet, due to low pressure correcting north at the 11th hour. That would be my concern regarding where the line is drawn on rain vs. snow.

    850hPa steering winds from the ENE keeping sleet/snow showers to the SE tomorrow morning, but those steering winds turn more easterly tomorrow evening, pushing those wintry showers further west.

    Things are starting to dry out here now the humidity is dropping. It helped that I power washed the paths last week. A bit chilly for bike maintenance though.

    Nice 850hPa temps, but 500 - 1000hPa thicknesses are nothing special. Even that chart may not yield a frost here.

    5.6 hours of sunshine today. That is the most hours since November 25th. I power washed all of my paths/patios today. They got very slippery with algae and slimy shizz growing. A satisfying 4 hours!
