So after 3 days of hit and miss thundery showers, which areas missed out? A visual check of the daily rainfall, calculated by hi-res radar, suggests much of Norfolk (esp. south and east of the county), most of Suffolk, most of Kent, and much of the eastern coastal strip of the Region have almost entirely escaped any meaningful rain.
Got nothing at all from that, but today - a whole 0.5mm in the rain gauge thanks to a direct hit from 15 minutes of moderate rain!!!!!!!

It's dull, it's grey, the rain is far away....
Shame it's not dark, the storm approach Genoa would be pretty awesome.
Yep, I spend time desperately searching the rest of the planet to see a flash of lightning....

We've had showers furthur east. I was in Attleborough earlier, and there was a hefty downpour as I left.
Very lucky then. There's a sizeable chunk of Norfolk that hasn't seen anything.

Still no sign of rain here, this latest and probably last hot spell can't even go out with a whimper, never mind a bang.
Storm wise every year has been worse than the last, something has definitely changed.

And, by Gad, we've managed to avoid all but a few spots!
Rinse and repeat today by the look of it.
The only way I'm going to get wet is by having a shower....

Morning all, rather dark and gloomy in mid-Norfolk.
Yet another day of "will it/won't it" on the cards, I'm betting on "won't"!

Is that the seventy-sixth rule of acquisition or the seventy-seventh? And, don't you dare declare Mornington Crescent!
It's 239 - Never be afraid to mislabel a product.

Was it the Klingons or was it the Romulans who hijacked the wormhole!
The way I heard it was the Ferengi sold the wormhole to the Romulans...

But Heinrich Himmler only needed one!
I don't want to freak you out, but there's a massive area of killer drizzle on its way.
I'd close all the windows and unplug your appliances just to be on the safe side...
Look at bloody Lincs FGS!

Aye. I think I'm getting 'warning fatigue'!
There must be a pill for it.
"Take one three times a day and you'll never see a thunderstorm warning again..."

That storm to the East of mine is an absolute monster. Looks to have become a right mover with an intense hailcore. Anyone near Swaffham, Fakenham or in Norwich should be on the lookout.
Can't hear a sausage and I'm roughly in the middle!
