  1. Loving this fog , what a grim start yet again. No let up in this dreadful Norfolk weather.
  2. Done everything in my power to get some rain - cut the grass, cleaned 3 vehicles, done some gardening and a bit of washing. Can't do more....
  3. There's not a single forecast giving me anything but mist and murk with maybe a sunny spell at 3pm *sigh*
  4. 14C and foggy but hopefully the sun will get rid pretty quickly!
  5. NW gives a higher risk for my area on Friday, MetO says no it's Thursday. Makes yer minds up!
  6. Not a huge amount but every time there's a risk map the low or no risk area always carves through mid Norfolk, excluding my area and those east or north of Norwich. Must be to do with the permanent onshore breeze!
  7. Very doubtful about the outcome tomorrow - MetO says rain (a 50% chance in the afternoon) and NW has 0% storm risk. Ah well, it's still not quite June yet, maybe the east will grab all the action over the traditional months......
  8. MetO kindly give a yellow warning for Thurs but the hourly forecast says nothing of the sort, just a 50% chance of rain in the afternoon. Not a brilliant forecast, looks like the wait may continue...
  9. I'm stunned. The clouds are moving in a completely different direction to their preferred N to S. There ought to be a warning about it....
  10. Why does the sun only ever appear at 6pm? How useless is that?
  11. Away from the whole storm or no storm discussion, I would love to know when (if ever) this relentless northerly feed along the eastern coastal area will stop? Seems like it might well continue for weeks yet Are there any hints to its potential demise?
  12. Oh well, storm risk has disappeared for my area over the next 48 hours. Could have forecasted that myself...
  13. Complete dross this morning. Even the rain wasn't up to much.
  14. If anything within 30 miles or so occurs my Australian Shepherd storm detector will alert me - by sitting on my head Trouble is I sleep like a log, takes a serious amount of noise to register with me
  15. Wow, nearest strike is only 42 miles away! The other day it was well over 100
  16. I think I'll be here for a while - my sig says otherwise but that was blooming miles away so imo doesn't count. 2018 looks like being a dreadful year- horrible start, a few spring like days, now it's just grey and dull mostly with a nasty NE'ly or N'ly which doesn't seem to be going away any time soon. Maybe the autumn will be nice....
  17. Might as well go to bed, need to be up early to enjoy the North Sea fog rolling in
