  1. Supposed to have reached Norfolk but breaking up according to the radar. Tbh I really don't want any more!
  2. https://www.facebook.com/Suffolknorfolktravel/ is helpful. A146 is now open. I would think there'll still be a fair amount of snow around but should be on the way out after the weekend
  3. Whereabouts? Main roads are apparently passable with care at the moment (A47, A11), A140 was blocked as are some of the minor A roads as snow is still drifting off the fields. A lot of B roads and lanes are not useable. I would think htat by Monday things should have improved a great deal. Snow depths are anything from 6in to 12in with 4-5ft drifts in places at present.
  4. Definitely a slight thaw going on here. Netweather radar seems to have broke.
  5. Meanwhile in the USA.... https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/nor-easter-set-slam-east-coast-severe-winds-rain-flooding-n852326
  6. Just put the dogs out for a final toilet break and almost had my legs removed by that wind. Hell's bell's it's more than perishing, what snow hasn't frozen is now piled up in huge drifts. Temps up to 15C next weekend would be so welcome right now!
  7. I'd be extremely surprised to see anywhere east of the M11 get anything more tbh. Just as well, I've had enough, it's bloody knackering working outside in this weather
  8. Awaiting a delivery of straw from just up the road, down to my last 2 bales Sheep will be in for the foreseeable, huge drifts in the fields and then it all turns to mud later. And to think this time last year and 2016 the first batch of lambs were outside in fabulous spring weather by the 15th March....
  9. I doubt if the eastern side won't get anything (actually I'm quite pleased, with any luck we'll be the first out of the woods, and the first to dry out - there's always a bonus!)
  10. NW radar still shows snow over almost the whole of the UK - it must be really struggling cos I can confirm over 24hrs without any further snow...
  11. One of my neighbours has been snow ploughing since 6am, a lot of people have to use B and minors roads round here. As fast as he clears it and moves on he's back at square one about 2hrs later as more drifts off the fields.
  12. Don't blame you! Shipdham to Watton is blocked, Ovington bends blocked etc etc. Dereham to Elmham just about passable, not many routes from Dereham to Wymondham passable. Basically not much in the way of options!
  13. Radar is bonkers -snow over almost the whole of the UK bar - yep, Norfolk.....how on earth does this happen?
  14. Morning all You know nothing's happening when your regional thread is at the bottom of the list!
  15. Just run the radar sequence and watched the snow north and south of Norfolk converge once it exited the county
