Never mind the snow, a late thawing of the last dusting has left every surface lethal. Chances of me getting up my lane tomorrow - zero, never mind driving anywhere Total snow cover today - probably 0.5cm (optimistic estimate)
-
"Warnings NOT affecting the East of England" - amber warning A lot of my friends will think I'm a total idiot now, pfft.
-
Sun is well and truly out again. Local wildlife completely confused about whether they should hibernate or start a family
-
Stopped again, melting. BBC forecast just now putting emphasis on the NE to get the persistent snow Tues/Wed (right over to the NW) and hit and miss showers for the rest. Looks like the end of the week will be our best bet for something substantial.
-
It's been snowing here more than it's been sunny now, decent sized flakes but still not settling on the wet surfaces from earlier (grass is a tiny bit whiter).
-
Very heavy snow shower currently, been a little frustrating as only been catching the edge of the shower clouds, so flurries lasting maybe 5 mins, sun comes out, it melts, wet surgface, next lot doesn't settle. Interestingly the showers have been anything from pellets to enormous fat flakes (currently). NOt much wind, been working outside all morning and haven't succumbed to hat/gloves/scarf/balaclava/neck warmer* delete as appropriate!

OOh you lucky devil! Radar showing the lovely gap over Norfolk - bright and sunny here. Still it can hold off for a bit as have to take truck for MOT in half an hour!
-
Don't know why but I'm sensing a 1991 repeat here - i.e. no snow and wondering what the fuss was about
-
BBC forecast now - amber warning for N, NE, Midlands and SE on Tuesday. Not the East. Same for Wednesday (even including the SW) and looking at Friday will probably miss Norfolk as well. Dear oh dear.
-
I do wonder what wind direction would produce a reasonable fall of snow for this area - over the past few years they've pretty much all failed!
-
It's pretty much normal now with "interesting" weather for mid Norfolk. Look what happened to our fantastic storms of the late 80s and 90s
-
Zilch here bar the very slight dusting around midnight. Low cloud streaming in off a NE'ly doesn't look particularly interesting either. Not particularly windy.
-
Time for bed I think. Don't break NW again, other people may need it Let's see how many mm we've managed in the morning....
-
10 miles SW of Norwich, nothing yet. Will be having a serious chat to Mr Holley Anyway, who broke netweather hmmmm??
-
Same here, cloud really streaming in now, felt something on my face too. Not sure if the orange glow I can see is in fact Norwich

It could be a very quiet thread! But let's not spoil things by sneaking back...you know.....over there......
