  1. We are really sad in Bedford as we can now watch our gritting lorries go around the roads, I think this is about the firdt time in ages they have been out . http://apps.bedford..../winterupdates/
  2. Thanks Paul, sad person that I am with nothing to do I have just tried it in IE9 and it does the same thing. Cheers Chris
  3. I have just been watching the animation (firefox 9.1) for the past ten minutes and it appears that when the next five minute update arrives the animation control button goes to stop without me doing anything, maybe this should happen?. I suppose this could be happening to PP whilst you are changing tabs if you catch it at the correct time. I'm not a computer buff but it seems like the frames that load when you select the animation don't delete the first and then add a new one when the latest update comes through. Cheers Chris
  4. I wondered if it's possible for me to filter out the moderated deleted posts from a thread?
  5. No problem OON, sorry I was being too being too harsh as you all do a great job moderating, thanks for the reply. Chris
  6. It would have be nice if there was some sort of announcment that the threads for EA and Midlands had been merged rather than find I was following a thread that now returns an error ? Sorry rant over Chris
  7. Yes just been outside and with that gusty wind and a temperature of 4.2c it certainly feels rather cold tonight, agree that was a good cold front, plenty of rain and wind.
  8. Oh dear a bit quiet in here in the EA room, well at least I should get to the bar easily :smiliz19:
  9. Fingers crossed as I look at a temperature of 11.1c at the moment, this time last year it was well below zero and just keeping the house warm was a task although the outside decs looked good
  10. Interesting that the radar is presently showing some more showers coming into the Bedford area as snow, however this morning it showed the same and it was rain. Chris
  11. and here's the live version for when it snows again http://www.ustream.tv/channel/dunstable-hang-gliding-and-paragliding-club
  12. Hi MKSnowangel, How was the panto, my family enjoyed it last Saturday whilst I spent a couple of hours walking around MK shopping centre. I would think a few people in MK can no longer lamp post watch as they have switched a number of to save money. Temperature id 4.7c here and pressure falling.
  13. Great to see everyone back for the winter time, hard to believe that nearly a year to the day there is the prospect of white stuff falling out of the sky. Off topic when everyone enters this thread does it take them straight to the last post or do they have to press the button at the top 'Go to first unread post'. It seems to happen on every thread for me (using firefox) and only started when the forum upgraded. Any way back to the weather 2.8c outside with a good windchill. Chris
  14. Hi Mksnowangel, I was in your neck of the woods on Saturday, very busy due the Red Bull event. Sitting here watching the pressure going down although I can't hear much wind so far and to think this time last year little did we know that in a few days time we would be having one of the best snow events in many years. Fingers crossed that the snow arrives soon. Chris
  15. Clear chilly start here at 6.4c which is different to what is being forecast on the Met site for this morning, where it should be cloudy.
  16. Yes 3.1 here and had to check to the shed roof to confirm there was a coating of white in top
  17. Thanks for the info Isolated Frost, must admit my best web cam is this one at Santa land, once that gets a cover you know winter is on the way http://www.santaclau...am_ulko_eng.php
  18. Looking on one of the lapland cameras, could it be about to snow if you quickly look http://alk.tiehallinto.fi/alk/english/kelikamerat/kamera-C1451201.html
