Sorry if I'm in the wrong place or this has been answered before.
When using firefox I have noticed that when I press refresh it takes me straight to the last post and not the last post I was reading reading, this doesn't seem to happen in IE. Therefore I have to make a note of the post number, not very easy in the model discussion thread at Christmas
Anyone come across this before and have any suggestions.
Thanks
Chris
Latest weather report from Bedford, rain and sleet temperature 2.1 has fallen 0.1 in the last hour. I would say there are now a few flakes of snow mixed in,ground very wet. edit: Large flakes now falling Chris
Can I ask MB a question. When we see the rainfall animation say at 10.35 do we see real rainfall radar say up to 9pm or is everything a computer generation based on earlier models. I only ask as the other evening when rain was moving up from France it didn't seem to be the same as the online radar, it was further east. Thanks
A great thread and nice to think back too those times. I seem to remember that Nov 1981 was when CB radio was introduced to the UK (legal). I often remember those cold nights listening to people asking for help whilst stuck in their cars  It was so cold one night that the brakes and doors on the local buses were frezzing, we must have had about least 140 people on one double decker trying to get home.
I would love to see them stay as when the map moves around you can get a feel of the wind strength over a wide area rather than the presenter having to mention it within the forecast.
May I ask another question MB (thanks for passing on our suggestions, hope you get a payrise and make DG one day ) will any graphics appear on the main chart for thunderstorms in the future.
Thanks
If they show the map face on will they still have to tilt it in order to show the rain or are we in for a long spell of dry weather for the next few years
It will be interesting to see what appears on our screens
There is an interesting article on the following link regarding the comments made by John Teather, former BBC Weather Centre Manager http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/news/article...ing%20Standard#
Sorry, I never complained about an automated response I was just making light of the fact that I received that e-mail from address. However a reply is only as good if it attempts to answer the constructive points that one puts forward. I'm not supprised they don't have the resource and if I was a manager in BBC Complaints section I'm sure i would be having words with BBC Weather about why my work load had increased so much over the past week.
I have done the same using the complaints section I received the following after 48 hours
"Thank you for your e-mail.
