yes clouded up over snake pass then seemed to spread out and cloud up… quite dark underside but no rain… now 21c… anyhows enjoying a tequila and blood orange soda

Sun has been out for half an hour… temp up from 17c to 19.6c
making lamb tagine on low and slow… smells lovely and fragrant… making mixed raisin cous cous with spearmint from garden
both aching from exploits in Londonford… need some medicinal Moroccan food

Had Worse yes sun made an appearance in Denton earlier… back home and it’s drying up… so much growth in garden so noticeable being away for four days…
balloon flight cancelled winds too strong to fly safely oh well…

Rush2019 cheers fingers crossed
we tried twice in Canada and once in New Zealand too… we got 5 metres off the ground in Canada for it to be cancelled due to ropes being tangled I’ve done it once by myself in Nepal in 1999when I did Kathmandu to London overland trip… hate heights but absolutely loved it… just want my partner to experience it… it’s magical

Had Worse meant to be air ballooning near tideswell tomorrow evening tenth time we’ve booked it… they’ve been going all the previous week… if it’s not rain (which should’ve cleared) it’ll probably be the wind that’ll cancel it… will buzz the flight line tomorrow lunchtime anyhow…
yes drizzly spots only so far… had 6.5mm yesterday according to weather station

Northern Lights: Sightings possible across UK after solar storm

A solar storm of this scale can cause disruptions to infrastructure such as the power grid.northern lights visible in Kent and London tonight supposedly but not here or I haven’t seen them on our jaunt to London… too much light pollution I think…
