A Face like Thunder oh wow you wrote a book about it… it is a lovely place… had a few chilled long weekends there… strolling along beach just by ourselves… really great place to get away from it all and take a breather

4.8c really chilly feel in breeze… just taken bins out… woodburner lit…. Hubby made delicious chicken chasseur for tea… stuffed
Looks more damp and drizzly Sunday… rain amounts have deminished over the last few days for weekend…

Three lovely spring like days sunny and blue skies… this morning misty then sunny but clouded up 1130-midday… hill fog… feels chilly compared to previous days… reached 15c on Tuesday in Marple on car… only 6-7c today…
managed 2-4 hours gardening last three days and this morning… slowly but surely getting many jobs done…
Great win Sunday (vs Utd) ️️️and yesterday (vs Copenhagen)️️️️️️ now onto Pool… Come on City… not going to Anfield peeps that sit next to us are… next home game FA cup vs Newcastle…

Trying to think of somewhere to go (UK) for four day break before British summertime/easter/schools break up… somewhere north of here and by train…. Any suggestions??

Lovely sunny day… chilly in breeze but felt warmth of sun out of the breeze… 3 hours gardening and quick walk into town… blitzed bathroom with new shower fitted… gammon egg & chips for tea…
much of this week is meant to be dry and sunny after some rain overnight tonight…

washing on (again) catching train to guide bridge this evening for a friends surprise 60th birthday party… see every other train cancelled today and engineering works tomorrow… great timing northern rail for Manchester derby… we’re driving but will no doubt be slow slog

Not sure it’s going to amount to much other than white hills… our decorator doing bathroom lives in meltham so could be a bit wintry drive for him
chilly walk to Lidl and M&S this morning…. Popping down to fish van tomorrow could have snowflakes a fluttering on our walk down and up again… lighting fire just now

6c now drizzle… two hours clearing flower beds and tidying up drive/beds/plants… picked some daffodils … jumper wash… new shower taking shape… hopefully finished and usable by Friday…
walk into town 3pm, husband has dental appointment and I’m popping into sowerbutts… Paddy has made Spanish tortilla and chicken croquettas for tea… my favourite
Then Luton vs City… couldn’t get any tickets… will have to settle for watching it on itv ️️️️

7c sunshine and clouds… bacon then drive to Bournemouth… speed trap at puddletown according to ways… says -1.7c at home overnight… looking at cameras decorator didn’t have to fight with our house alarm this morning

Driving to Somerset for my sisters birthday, Saturday going to Bournemouth vs City… then meeting with friends from Kent for brunch at Aunt Fanny’s farm shop and cafe near blandford forum for Sunday brunch before driving back home…

will be crazy journey tomorrow with m67 closed, diversion through Ashton, and peeing it down on way back… leave 2 hours before kick off to go 15 miles normally… leaving 2&1/2 hours tomorrow… worst we’ve had was year before last with Real Madrid match.. 2 hours ther and 2 hours back…

Had Worse applied to go to Durham university and went on an open day in 1999… haven’t been back since but I remember it being a really lovely city… might be good to go there with Paddy was thinking about two day in York then somewhere else for a couple…
