    Seems the risk has lowered in my area so not gonna get my hopes up. Thursday was looking good with a 50/50 chance but now that has decreased to 31%. Just gotta be patient I suppose!

    These cells seem so isolated and pulse/decrease very rapidly. Still in the club myself but hoping to get out of it this week. Chance Wednesday or Thursday.

    Just had a big downpour of rain hit near lakenheath/Bury St Edmunds. Behind that the sun has come out and there are some huge anvils sitting there!

    I believe I am detecting the strikes that are apparent on the radar just North of the Wash.

    Just rain here i'm afraid! AM radio detecting strikes about every minute or so. Anyone know if a fresh line of cells are gonna pop up later this evening for the east?

    Hi i'm in that area now but working. Finish very soon so will go and take a look. Now heading out for a quick fag and got about 30 mins to spare so will have a quick drive around

    Hope the London cell will hit me just as I finish work. Luckily my camera is in the boot of my car along with the tripod so may make a few stops on my journey home

    Even though it was a small funnel cloud, what I would give to have weather like that in suffolk at the moment. Very drizzley with sunshine! My hayfever is absolutely awful in this weather too

    Forecast warns of thundery weather in the East. Finally may get out of the club today! Fingers x'd!!!

    Well the next 3 days are looking good for Suffolk. Had a little chase yesterday when a small cell came over to my North. Brought a nice downpour and some hail. Some really low grey clouds. Went very dark. Another little chase tonight hopefully!

    Yea it was, I was being lazy and couldn't be bothered to trawl back through the posts :lol: I don't have extra. Just the light subscription. So what do you think are our chances of catching a storm or some thundery weather?

    Finding the same situation is happening here in Suffolk too. Some really nice convection going on, I counted 3 very nice anvils on my way home from work that sat high up in the sky and went through a small amount of rain from a tall nimbus cloud. Gonna keep my eye on the radar tonight. Could still be a chance. CAPE is interesting in EA at 18z someone said earlier on the forum.
