    Nah. Steady rain, bit of thunder, one loud one. Basically the main action was on a NW course right for us, then took a left turn across the Chilterns. Picked up an Easterly by the looks.

    Just started raining in LB. Hoping for better than the poor effort yesterday! Very dark.

    Waiting for this thing in the SE to give me a last minute swerve again. Just started raining at least. Expecting the white shading to go to the north though, as it went to the south yesterday.

    It’s fun checking this, the rain radar and plane finder at the same time. Seeing planes attempting landings and seeing their unusual flight paths avoiding the storms

    Yeah, bloody Easterlies! We were in the firing line until it suddenly went west. Grumble mutter etc etc

    Amazing. I think that nice Easterly all the way from Denmark is coming into my lounge at the moment! So much nicer.

    Yes, couldn’t believe it! Hey ho, happens a lot. So much more comfortable at least now.

    On the way to you. The white shading on the radar was heading straight for us..but went ‘nah’ and slid to the south, over the Chilterns. Couple of loud roars, bit of lightning, but never ‘let rip’ as such.

    And LB poking out too right in the bloody middle of the storms. Although finally kicking off now.

    Can hear it all and in Luton, but here the radar shows us in a little hole surrounded by all the action! Very frustrating...

    Rumbles here in LB, hardly any rain yet. Looking towards Luton direction, only a matter of time

    Been on Branksome Dene chine the last 3 days, absolutely nothing happened! Back home now.

    Building here nicely in LB. Just looked weird with a single black cloud in with the white. Lots of towers to the south

    All over, 7/10 in Leighton Buzzard, hope it peps up for the MK & Bedford lot! Looks more impressive on the radar than it actually was.

    That Morecambe webcam looks mental!! I’m down in Poole sweltering, visiting parents in same room as I watched the mental Bournemouth cell hit in July 15. Very different here, just desperate for a slight breeze. Not nice.

    Still so lucky to be visiting my parents in Poole that weekend. Remember how humid it was when we arrived Friday night and then boom. When your friend who lives in the states and is over visiting says it’s an American standard storm, you know it’s a biggie!!
