    Chris. Looks like it's the level we had down in Bournemouth last July. It's funny then it's....a bit scary. Stay safe, looks mental on rain radar.

    Yep pretty heavy shower here in LB and perhaps the days last bit of lightning to my SW over the Chilterns. Funny as been benign all day, quite nice.

    Thunder and rain here in Camden. Was lucky enough to be in Bournemouth last July for the monster.....wonder if this is going to top it????

    Ha ha. Oh it wasn't me, saw it in the local rag and tracked it down in YouTube. Yeah and always worried about the commentary too!

    Few booms, some lightening and got a soaking during my track session at MK. Heading back towards LB, big spots on windscreen again., pretty cloudy.

    Yep those first few spots were on me in LB! Typical. Driving through MK now, wet on roads, sky quite dark to the east. Shame as I'm just about to do a track session.

    That squall line gave us some ice on the windscreens etc, just pepped up. That might mean a bit of wet snow for Luton airport??

    No thunder but some cracking hail down here in Poole. Always better down here than back in LB, like when I was down here in July for the big one!!

    Been in the darker shadows all evening on the radar, not one flake of snow though, I suppose possibly Luton airport might get a bit. This has been well over hyped though.

    Can well imagine, must be an absolute non stop nightmare. I'm just whining because I'm a runner and been battling it for months now!

    'Swing depressions over the U.K.' The weather does this for us anyway! More wind on the way. Christ I'm sick of this crap.

    Basically our crappy weather is cloudy and windy all year round, at about 8-15 degrees in winter and 15-20 degrees on summer. The omnipresent wind is the worst aspect of our climate, especially as I'm a runner. Wind is evil. EVIL!

    Wish I hadn't watched the weather forecast tonight. Non stop super duperty Atlantic wind and rain....'oh but at least it's mild! Who gives a super duper? It's jaffa cakesing with rain!! God I hate the weather here. (Obviously not my choice of words 😂)

    To me it looks like the main rain band has just gone walkies into the North Sea!! Shouldn't it be in the channel??

    Yes, quite wet last night, especially if one had an outside training session at Luton at 6pm,! Bouncing torrential rain for 30 mins non stop. About the wettest I've ever been running I think!

    Was working at a campsite near Calais 20 years ago, glad I'm not there now! About to take another battering...certainly get their fair bit of wild weather up there.

    Looks like the Pays de Calais is going to get another pasting later too. Worked at a Campsite near Calais in 95. Had a couple of absolute humdingers when I was over there.

    Looks like Dungeness is going to clip a little bit of it, rest looks likely to stay in the Channel??

    Be a bugger to the shipping, but a Portsmouth style round fort in the middle of the straights of Dover would be a great storm viewing venue I mean, how many of those take that track? Unreal.
