    Lol, you know me, like to pop up unexpectedly Ninja-style... May 27th? Wow. No wonder my poor garden is sulking. There’s talk of it going right through to end of July! Absolutely crazy! All I can think is that if weather likes to balance itself out we’re going to have some kind of apocalyptic winter

    So, having been cooked out of my hibernation by this relentless heat..... I’m just wondering if this summer is going to be the death knell for the famous riposte of ‘who remembers the summer of ‘76?’, lol. How long has it been since it actually rained in the Midlands? I’ve lost track now!

    Yup, I’m up watching the lightning too. Snow and storms are my 2 favourite weathers, so hop back on here when it’s either of those. This lightning is amazing though eh?

    The MetO app is stunningly stupid. it shows nothing all day here until 5pm. In reality it hasn’t stopped snowing all day. Utterly useless. ?

    Well, all those times I’ve felt sorry for you Serendipity for not getting snow when I had some, I’m taking them right back! ? Just a sprinkle here - not even a dusting really. Sigh.

    Aargh - thanks for the ear worm, lol. Still, better than the theme to Dirty Dancing, which was yesterday’s for some reason.... ? A few flakes in the wind here and there, nothing to report, but boy those clouds are FLYING along!
