    Can't bring myself to watch her or the Eno "double 5" fool, flick over to Granada and who do we have, ah the very easy on the eye Jo Blythe, who cares about her forecast......now there's a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day!!!!

    Just driven down the East Lancs to Haydock, difference in 7-8 miles in incredible, but when I got bak to Worsley its battering down here too and judging from the radar this isn't that intense yet

    Their Northern extent of Amber seems bang on at the moment...I'd love to be able to see anyone predict a 50mile shift N or S of a snow event.

    Don't see that the MO are that wrong in current warnings..Amber is for 5-10cm of lying snow....no body is reporting anywhere near that in the NW yet, I recon they will be about bang on with it...10 cm here would do me fine!

    Will be interesting to see with nearly every model downdrading the ppn for the North of the area, I imagine they would reduce the extents of the amber....a waiting game as ever!!

    the amber warnings were issued yesterday, expect an update and most probable downgrade between now and lunchtime.

    Well for me it's fingers crossed for the MO updates on the warnings hopefully before midday.

    That only shows that we are at 100% chance of getting snow....thats always been the case, the downgrade is the amount that we get.
