    good covering here, still light snow - recon there's plenty more to come, just been out to play, neighbours have sledges out, I have rear wheel drive and 3L turbo with traction turned off.........................oh happy days!!!

    It does and hopefully will pep up across the Irish Sea, but at the moment it's fairly narrowm may give us a short but sweet snow even on top of frozen rain

    Looking at the PPN radar, unless this first front slows considerably it will be long gone from us before the second (cold) front catches and merges with it.

    Not seen any forecast yet this morning, frost not as hard this morning, may have been over night cover, tho it's -5.5c outside at the moment in our frost hollow. Is it still due to be snow followed by rain??

    It's fingers crossed time now, the models are all over the place at the moment, hopefully this time tomorrow it will be a bit clearer what's gonna happen over the weekend, as it stands FL is +24 at the moment. Looks as tho my drive from Wiltshire to Worsley will be a bit chilly tomorrow night, hopefully back in time to sort the snow shovel out for Saturday morning!!!

    Err so where did bone chilling cold go, Granada forecast for this week just showed -1c as the coldest night!

    So my drive to Wiltshire tonight is going to be wet and horrible, and my drive back up on Thursday night looks like it could be a bit special, what's the odds Thelwal, the toll and Barton bridges will be shut!! Looks like it's going to be a real howler, more like 50mph sustained winds with gust 80+ I reckon.
