    Its a winter storm with gale force winds...there will be precip a plenty...models are adjusting constantly...well be being buried again tomorrow morning!!

    The amount of time I've told my kids "There will be snow in the morning"!!! Now 1 is heading back to Leeds Uni and the other is in the middle of a level exams..........making a snowman on my whilst "ahem homeworking" on Friday (hopefully)!!

    The streamer that trundeled up the Mersey corridor a couple of days before Christmas 2009 was a monster, East Lancs was batterd for hrs...bring it on again...don't think I'll be driving to Wiltshire on Monday night next week!!!

    The only forecast I'm going to believe is at T0 and it's settling on the East Lancs......then and only then..lots of street light gazing until then!!!

    Still -3c here in Worsley nr Manchester. Hopefully no too much of a warm up before the front pushes in so may see the first snow of the winter!

    For me it has to be the streamer we got up the Mersey Corridor 23rd Dec 2009. Rain was forecast, but it just battered down with snow for hours. M62 and A580 were mullered, but it gave us snow on the ground for xmas day and a couple of weeks after!

    Looks like my weekly drive home from Wiltshire to Manchester tomorrow evening maybe best postponed for a couple of hours!! Avon is flooding badly at Staverton, water heights at Bradford-on-Avon are as high as I've seen them without flooding the town. Still plenty more to come tomorrow and the weekend!!
