  1. found that film on the itv hub online after i'd already missed a quarter of it but its easy to pick up even so, watching it now and its very good.Quite sunny pleasant day over here.Remember to buy your coke/lemonade/lucozade before the tax of 30p hits it on 1st April.
  2. Hi gang, I've spent most of the morning helping baby to understand how to move his wings to fly, he is getting there.A bit too enthusiastic as he has almost fallen to the ground a couple of times lucky I was holding him.I've made a nice chicken soup, and nothing on tv so i'll try to find some film on youtube. There is the film the theory of everything about stephen hawkins, but dont know if i'Il find the channel (itv3) online because i haven't got a tv. i was lucky enough to meet stephen hawkins once and he spoke to me. i see its not so fixed for snow over easter here.
  3. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5540053/Forget-Boat-Race-Goat-Race-Oxfords-Hamish-winning.html omg there really is such a thing!
  4. you aren't going to believe this, just looked at my emails, nice bit of spam with the title... A is for Alpacas. I swear they follow me about and look at what I'm looking at. Anyway, just had a nice bath, all the birds have gone to bed except for the seagull, baby is still doing well, not flying yet but does stretch his wings from time to time, just put some washing on and there's only one large item left in the laundry basket apart from the birds coverings which i wash seperately so that is good, went out shopping earlier and it wasn't cold again still warm in the house this evening, another hour and a half till casualty is on, bored now.
  5. I shall be off in a while to watch the Oxford=Cambridge goat race, but it appears one side has been cheating, they've been feeding their goat on go-faster weeds.
  6. Just been out, all the shops are fully stocked, no panic about snow, feels fairly warm, have turned heating off.
  7. omg its one of those nights again judging by the previous comments.
  8. When Southernman was dying we had plastic ones, about half a dozen whch i used to rotate and disinfect, much cheaper, and easier than cardboard, can't think where we got them from but i would imagine the chemist would sell them? (i think his nurse supplied them).
  9. i can be nuts without any alcohol, not sure if that good or bad.
  10. Its English, should have said this was in French, tried to use english words in a french sentence, that doesn't work.but have been happily fluent like a native speaker for many many years now and dont make those mistakes anymore.
  11. S'nothing, long before i was speaking fluently, i was about 17 and literally groping my way in the language, when i announced to a random guy that i had not answered the door because i was impregnating myself with a manual. That took some explaining as to what i actually meant. What i should have said was that i was engrossed in a book. (engross meaning to impregnate in many languages).
  12. I've been pondering this conundrum and i cannot see how you could mistake a fridge for a goat, the only thing they have in common is milk. Anyway i looked at the model thread. looks like snow for the coastal fringes any time after wednesday, but then more towards the weekend, a foot of snow in london?
  13. Chemistry between me and Ed? That's for us to know, and you to (Golden) Wonder!
  14. Help, help, just went into the model thread (i know, what was i thinking?) and a fight's breaking out and now i'm all nervous.
