  1. It just makes me angry, interviews with idiots who said, oh we voted to leave but we didn't understand it would mean we'd have to leave, boo hoo.In other news, the same idiots order dinner in a restaurant, then complain when they are given what they ordered "we didn't understand that ordering steak and chips meant that we wuld get steak and chips and we don't like that".
  2. Thanks, its much better, just had a few days of double and treble vision which wasn't great.
  3. Sorry to hear that. Seems lots of people aren't well at the moment, i've had a problem with my eyes for a couple of weeks.
  4. Colder today than yesterday, put heating on again, quite overcast now. Keeping up with model thread in case of snow from 29th March through first week of April.
  5. UK cold snap set to 'extend BEYOND Easter' with 'MULTIPLE Beasts from the East until June'
  6. Someone was out in her knickers buying knick knacks from the knick knack shop and after that she was knackered.
  7. Its only every few weeks i'm over beccles way, probably there again mid-april unless it snows then.Would be impressive (if against health regulations) to just stroll round tesco with a seagull on your shoulder.
  8. I saw it but chose not to respond during it, but what I would say is that nobody here knows what other members here are going through, be it illness of themselves or family members, perhaps lost their job, maybe even just lonely. Some members have chosen to share their problems/illnesses which is great if others can support them, I for one would be very sad to have the great community we have here reduced to only weather related comments, i think all of us have been cheered up by the joking aound we do sometimes, i know that sometimes when i feel very lonely and miss southernman and feel that being ill is unfair as well, i can always rely on a laugh in this thread. And yep I'm sure I would have got myself banned as well.
  9. Our local media is starting to talk about temperatures dropping from 29th march with possible snow over easter in this area. feels warmer here than of late and not so overcast, currently the baby bird is very warm, snuggled up under my chin and making a squeaking noise which is why the baby ones at a certain age are called squeakers. He was five weeks old yesterday and i expect he will fly soon, usually after six weeks.
  10. Absolutely. There's always people out to stop other people having a nice chat, ok its supposed to be weather related but there's only so much weather you can talk about.
  11. i did wonder, but there was no sign of a greyhound although maybe the yarmouthian gulls already saw it off.
  12. Thats a bit personal. just turned the heating up chilly here, but had to laugh while waiting for the bus back from the hospital, i was just thinking it was still cold, when i had a sighting of some native great yarmouthanders, two lads in short sleeved tshirts.
  13. I've had him since the day he was born, he got tame through being handfed for several weeks and being carried around in my arms, he still thinks wild seagulls don't fly, they just find a convenient human to carry them.
  14. I have to start getting ready to go out soon, i've already had to rescue baby today, i put him in a tray with some small seeds because he is just learning to peck, turned my back for TWO SECONDS. turn back, NO BABY!. He can't fly. Looked all round for a couple of minutes. Found him inside the music system drawer, the drawer was slightly open, he must have climbed up the seed tray, fallen off the table and whoooosssshhhh straight into the drawer.
  15. oh no, i did that too once in front of my colleagues who were just staring wondering if i was going to drink it, i realised after the first mouthful but to be fair the sugar and salt packets in hotel dining rooms look similar, don't they?
  16. Well that will teach me to concentrate, looking at the model thread a few minutes ago and went and made a cup of tea straight after while still thinking about possible snow at easter. Came back and tasted the tea, and for a few moments could not think what had happened and what i had in my mouth. Then realised it was coffee, i had actually made coffee, not tea.Tasted weird when I was expecting to taste tea.
  17. Well, you've got enough there to keep you busy, good luck with the career change. Tramadol is a horrible thing, it can give so many people bad reactions, lets hope the injections help.
  18. Am I the only one who can never find the UK on these charts, its like one those magic eye paintings, hold it sideways, well there's the coast of france, so the uk must be.....oh THERE it is!
