    Nice deep thunder just heard. Less frequent lightning but a lot brighter.

    Ok so been watching for the last 10mins and seen at least 40 flashes. Getting closer.

    Ok so I got out of bed and now standing outside in shorts and t-shirt. Confirming lightning. This is cool!

    Blitzortung app has strikes getting closer and closer. Gone from 55km to 33km. I'm getting up. Its only Friday tomorrow ha ha.

    I think its a great idea. However I would probably use Blue instead of Green for Level 1.

    I purchased an electric bat from pound land the other week. Electrocuted my 1st wasp yesterday.

    I could see the gust front moving in from work. I had to get 3 stories up but my o my it looked incredible. Unfortunately my backlight is not working on my phone so had to guess where the camera was.... I found it and probably took 50 photos of it hoping 1 would be good. I shall check them out and upload once home (if they are any good).

    Some very nice convection to my west here. Looks very nice with the sun gleaming behind.

    Nipped out to do a timelapse. Got wet so retreated. Rain intensity is increasing here! I was on the edge of it all but now in the thick of it. Edit: Radar shows it has intensified quite a lot since arriving in North Bristol.

    Heard a distant rumble of thunder about 20 mins ago as I was on my way to the shop. Contemplating a quick timelapse as I have a decent view of sky to the east from my location. EDIT: Oh and my backlight for my HTC died today so cant see anything unless the sun is shining bright. Really gutted and cant keep an eye on things whilst out.
