    Well I've now had 5 storms in the last 2 weeks. Some not directly overhead but none the less, a major improvement on previous years gone by. Its nice to see and hear it all again after such a long time. So now my attentions turn to Monday afternoon. AWD I would like to hear your thoughts if you may? I see there is a decent amount of CAPE shown by GFS, but I know its not always about that. Or could there be something over the weekend? Cheers!

    These clouds are truly impressive! I've got some photos but they really don't give an idea of how awesome they really look.

    The CB's are huge to my west and now beginning to move closer. The sun is beginning to get blocked out and the skies are darkening.

    Some rather large CB's rolling past my house now. The glare of orange light from the streets makes them very visible.

    You can just about see the Mammatus to the right of the Cloud. EDIT: No where near as good as yours slinky but seems we were looking at the same cloud?

    Mine seems to work even when I exit the app, but I'm not actually exiting it as such, I'm just pressing the home button so it keeps running in the background. I'm using an HTC One X.

    May finally get a direct hit from the storm just going past Weston.

    Keeping my eye on that cell in the Bristol Channel. Should get a decent view from work should it produce lightning when/if it gets here.

    Have heard rumbles from this next batch of storms however they are skirting past Bristol which is a shame.

    Yeah me too. Managed to see 4 Cloud to Cloud strikes and lots of rumbles of Thunder. Hardly any rain here though.

    Blitzortung app has registered a strike in Bath!

    Good stuff! I've got mine on a 10 Mile radius at the mo and 60 sec refresh. If you want to see if it works, set the radius higher to like 250 mile so you can get a gist of it. I'm sure there will be plenty of lightning around next week for you to test it on. Great app!!
