Is it going to be any good for snow for us though? Northerlies aren't usually great for us down here
Very much depends on alot of different things..
It's possible.

I always find it strange how on the forecasts they often go by what the latest model run shows rather than simply going by the radar or looking out of the bloody window.
Because then it wouldn't be a forecast?

Cor that's a good lot over Kent way..
Not much but a few flakes here.
But north sea turning out some surprises!

Moderate snow here now
You've got some elevation there.
The forecasted temps are maximum.
There are lots of others factors in play besides actual temps.
Certainly feels alot colder....
Wouldn't surprise me to see more showers to lower levels later into tonight..

Its 5c here, not a chance. The snow risk is from around 3am to midnight tomorrow with the key time here in Dover being Monday morning. Its a 1-2 cms thing on hills, not very exciting in historical terms,,,, but we live in challenging times,,, where snow is becoming ever more vanishingly rare, so on that basis its now something of note! LOL.
Yes I was looking at tomorrow( wrong day) on my nw lol
Sadly my weather station has broken...

Raining hard here.
With these temps I'd of expected them to be snow....

Those showers just not pushing in far enough.... ooo so close.
Some in Kent are catching them though??

Have to say I am getting a bit scared right now..
The wind here is the worst I have had it.
Worse than when we had red warnings....
Don't know if it's because it's from a different direction this time?
But it's shaking my house and causing lots of damage.
What with the wet ground there will be trees down everywhere... not having a great time atm

Would be a dream come true as long as my family are here before we get snowed in ️
So what are the odds ? not that I’m likely to have a flutter or a flurry for that matter !
It was frosty last light but by this morning it’s just another damp dull December day that’s only fit for watching Christmas movies and gift wrapping so that’s what I’ll be doing, was supposed to be going to Stratford upon Avon Christmas market but feeling under the weather in more ways than one !
8/1 atm x

With the mild biased met office talking of a white Christmas, surley its more possible than ever before?
I have never known them to mention snow at Christmas before?

Wondering if we might see abit of snow from that?
It needs to push up quite soon for us not to catch any of it , where I am.

Snow here in Ipswich. My favourite kind of setup - cold air across warm sea, and one that actually brings some type of weather
Yes hoping these will intensify and get some legs ..

Yes “the lock inn” aka chat room - many a night spent lamppost watching with a drink or 3, those were the days - checking the snow depth on our bin lids
I do miss it...
Especially when I and quite a few others were raging insomniacs.
It passed the time when you couldn't sleep.
Someone was always on there.
The pub run was always a very chatty time!

Seem to be drifting north west,
And less the blob gets much wider it won't get here...
It's possible it will intensify and grow bigger though...
