    I was thinking today after all the coal and wood I got. Might be just aswell put heating on for what it's cost. The price of coal is ridiculous Supply and demand = high prices.

    My heating is set to thermostat all the time. A couple of mornings it's dropped below 19 c and it's kicked in. But I would say it was only on for an hour or so. I set thermostat to 19 in early mornings and evenings. 16 c in the day and during night.

    Fingers crossed its not a bad as they say it is ,or could be. Very destructive. Bad for rural areas with farms and grazing animals etc. Awful and dangerous for people to get to work. I hope its watered down I do to. I tried to do my paper round. Paper lady said I had to. A tile flew off and nearly hit me. I went home crying and my mum phoned up paper lady and told her to shove the paper round up her you know what

    Exactly . If it isn't sticking or melting I don't class it as snowiest. Thats why I said feb. Nobody is interested in melting snow

    Negative -now theres a word. Maybe negative is writing off Winter. When notably February is the snowiest month. Every single Winter February is the best chance of snow. It's weeks into fi atm. Chill.

    I don't know about that. Can't see a month ahead with any clarity. A few are seeing something completely less discouraging. Jury is still very much out. So no write offs just yet thank you.

    The difference of opinion in here is amazing. I don't know what everybody is looking at? But going into febuary we are colder ,milder,no ppn about with lots of cold rain. No hope of anything snowy with some great chances of a North easterly. With - 8 uppers. Colder but not freezing . When its been freezing every morning here already? But nothing noteworthy in the disappointing models. Certainly a variation in outcomes depending on who looking at them!

    He said half of winter gone? Winter 21/22 Tuesday 21 December 2021, and it will end on 20 March 2022. We about 13 days into winter

    What storm?? Weird , nothing in colchester. Met office had me for 50 mph winds. Thunder and hail. We had a rain shower...

    The colder spell is already being extended. Whilst people looking so far ahead and writing off winter. You not looking at what's going on for the rest of this week? Listen to nick f Things change at very short notice. Old advice still the best and worth repeating. Get the cold In first. Then you'll see what can actually develop. I've been watching this very carefully. Watch and wait

    No I don't agree either. I think people are like this because a white Christmas is very rare. And would be something magical. That's why people are so passionate about it.

    Yes so I heard. I don't know how he can make such a statement.when the models are a still a over the place. Corrections north,then south. North, South . Now slightly south again. Could well be further south tomorrow!
