Wife wants to go to lyme regis for lunch tomorrow so no chance of seeing wet snow for me anyway...I think meto are likely to be correct on this one although they have said its finely balanced and alot of uncertainty on extend of the snow signal. I think further east you are better chance you have. Probably see abit of sleet on mendips and maybe brief transient snow on back edge although I won't know being in bristol sunday and it won't settle or be there by 5pm when i get home. gonna be a nasty cold wet day though!
ground certainly doesn't need that rain here.

I know how can anybody like mild weather in winter early spring the can usually get mild weather at least 9 months a year,bizarreMate, you should change your weather preferences to "High Pressure" :lol:

I know i posted these charts tongue in cheek and i know they wont verify but why is GFS adament about snow in the 12 hour time frame,i think it should have more human input.....Im a little confused to be honest because meto seem so certain of a non event unless you live in east of england yet a few models still want to turn it to snow...? Can they be this wrong less than 24 hours out?

hahaha.....sorry tom couldnt resist......I will i should be able to get it up and running by wedesday or thursday only problem is i forgot to order a mounting pole so il try my other one from my wmr100n hopefully it will fit and be stable
Next weekend looks good,cornwall & devon normally does well out of a northerly,i think this could upgrade as we get nearer the time.

We'll look forward to that then .My take on events for our patch from what I've seen from the models and media is a messy transfer from cold dry conditions to rather cold, grey and possibly foggy conditions Sunday. The messy transition will most likely be accompanied by a short/ish period of snow or possible freezing rain before rain turns to drizzle and peters out overnight Saturday into Sunday. Sunday itself would probably stay dull, merky and possibly foggy under the decaying front. I might be wrong but that's how I think it would turn out if things verified as shown tonight.

Just picked my daughter up from school,she's been to pila/italy (alps) on school trip,it only snowed once over there that was yesterday whilst leaving,ironically she could see snow tonight here
