  1. Thanks Paul, seems to have reappeared. I didn't knowingly do anything but all good now.
  2. Thanks Paul, as you know I posted a similar thing a while back but this fix is great. Any reason why the italics button has gone from the editor bar please? Only got five icons now... Page with magnifier, bold, smilies, link and undo . Maybe I need to change a setting?
  3. Another alert and KP 6 this evening but clouded out again!
  4. Yep just got that alert. KP 5 on spaceweather.com with bz south. Good luck up North ! Clouded out here.
  5. I'm in north Wales and it was forecast (BBC) to be brighter here but high heavy skies here all day. Pleasantly warm and dry though with no wind.
  6. Yep combining the wheat here with clouds of dust billowing everywhere. Looks like a dessert sandstorm!
  7. Just got the NW Storm App to work and it looks like a wall of storms are incoming out of the Irish Sea & Cardigan Bay. Tin hats on!! ....( or rather not.)
  8. I was woken up at 3:30 by an almighty clap of thunder. There has been the odd rumble ever since with a few showers. Just got up and can see and hear a beast of a storm out over the Llyn Peninsula. Some good CG seen. Not sure which way it's heading... North East possibly.
  9. Out on the Llyn peninsula and not a cloud in sky over the Irish Sea or in fact any direction. Just a few high level wisps inland. A steady light onshore breeze has developed but is more like the hot air blast from an oven rather than refreshing!
  10. Sea fog yesterday stretching inland as far as Beddgelert where it was rolling over the hill tops. Today started off the same until midday and then the fog lifted and a stonking scorcher of a day!
  11. Hi Nick...works perfect as you say on a Laptop/PC but not on my Android phone Moto G (3rd gen 2015). Clicking or taping the grey box at the top of the quote box and then pressing backspace does nothing. I'm using the Stock Android keypad that comes with Marshmallow Android 6.0 with the latest version of Chrome. I'll try a different non-stock keyboard App and /or Dolphin browser.
  12. Looks like one or two people are having similar trouble to me (as posted earlier) with the quote function. see some posts on EU referendum thread. I've put the problem down to Android (possibly marshmallow) Chrome keyboard not having a effective right click mouse substitute function. I have to delete what text I can but it still leaves a previously selected quote header in the post.
  13. On my laptop I can remove quotes with a right click of the mouse. I managed to clear it once off my phone when I got a cut option on the whole quote but struggling to replicate how I did it! Thanks for the help Paul.
  14. Once I've made the post the quote goes and it's clear. I don't want to post an erroneous quote unnecessarily .
  15. I see the cross but backspace does nothing. I seem to now have a quote in this thread that won't go away... as below! I'm tempted to boot up my laptop but suspect it's an android marshmallow issue.
  16. I'm not using the quote function but an old quote from days ago always pops up as soon as I try and type in the reply box. Other threads are OK. I've managed to replace the quote with a new one but I now can't delete that one.
  17. Having trouble replying in a topic. There seems to be an old quote permanently there. Have tried logging out and in again and rebooting phone. Using Chrome and Android Marshmallow. Seems OK in Firefox. I think I saw a post by Daveshug complaining of the same issue.
  18. RAF Cosford is equal first on the main page with top temperature today @ 25ºC so not surprised it's kicking off now. Rumbles of thunder and pouring with rain Perton West of Wolverhampton I've been told.
  19. White over here from heavy sleet, snow and soft hail shower.
  20. Nice covering of snow on the Clee Hills this morning.
  21. Gritting lorry just gone up onto the moors and radar shows some sleet/snow about but just rain here at 220 m asl.
