  11. Most main roads are OK.... cant comment on side roads but untreated ones are most likely still lethal.
  12. Still fine snow coming down... The sheer weight of over 12 hours of snow is quite apparent and has completely split one of my trees (not in this shot.)
  13. We're snowed in. Track to the lane is a 200m long snow drift. Last time this happened was Jan 13.
  14. Quite a hefty shower of soft hail/snow pellets underway here in South Staffs.
  15. Must have been a rare combination of the right temperature, atmospheric conditions and the suns angle.
  16. Capel Curig topped 84mph now with other nearby stations showing 50/60 + gusts. Almost as bad as Ophelia here and potentially longer lasting as it's been blowing a hoolie since the early hours..... and still is.
  17. Yep...pretty bad here. Max gust at nearby Capel Curig was 79mph. It took my bins out again!
  18. NW Snowdonia After a night of very heavy rain. Really strong sustained wind now. Just had a massive gust. Checked the Netweather MAX Gusts chart and yep, Capel Curig already top of the leaderboard at 61mph. Mild here at 12°C and currently light(er) rain.
  19. Really strong wind now. Just had a massive gust and lost the refuse bins.... Checked the Netweather MAX Gusts chart and yep, Capel Curig already top of the leaderboard at 61mph.
  20. Been raining most of the afternoon here but now getting much heavier. Forecast looks set to give us plenty more well into tomorrow (Wednesday) and gales along with it.
