  1. Should be a great afternoon & evening here on the Suffolk/Cambridgeshire border. A very warm, humid & misty start to the day here....sunshine now blazing away! All ready for the chase into Cambridgeshire early afternoon. Seasons
  2. Rainfall intensity has eased during the last 10 minutes. Latest MetO radar images certainly look very colourful!!
  3. Heavy prolonged rain here on the Suffolk Cambridgeshire border. Lets hope this keeps up all night, I didn't buy that blow-up boat for no reason!
  4. Job done......home at one. Now out chasing!!!! Gonna be a great day!! Just have to latch onto the right storm......keep your eyes peeled Gav lol Chow :-D
  5. Temperature here is currently 30.6C and sunny. Garden is starting to look like the Sahara Desert lol
  6. xcweather reporting towering cumulus at Wattisham (16:50). Certainly a very muggy and hot afternoon here in Suffolk. Seasons
  7. Looking good Nick, thanks for that. Will finish work at midday tomorrow.......then chasetime :-). Gav
  8. Moderate snow now falling after a dry and cloudy morning. Turning white rather quickly! Pleased for all those that have recieved a good fall of the white stuff. Season
  9. Watching that trough carefully Harry. A very interesting early - mid afternoon in Herts, Essex, Cambridge and Suffolk. Seasons
  10. Nice photos, the rainfall looks very heavy in your forth picture. Thanks for sharing. Seasons
  11. Had some good thunderstorms recently, but still knowhere near as good as the one I chased near Duxford 4 1/2 weeks ago (Near Duxford). Can't believe how lucky I got that day. And most of it was luck with a little bit of skill :o TEITS that is interesting with regards to the funnels/Tornado's in recent times in Peterborough. There seems to have been many tubes in recent years in the triangle area I have highlighted below. With the landscape being very flat in this area (The Fens) I suspect this plays a large part. Paul S, can you give me directions to your Bbq next Sunday. Would be great to meet up with you and other storm enthusiasts. Ta..... Seasons P.s. Does anybody want to buy my Nikon D80 (That took the pictures above) Im currently upgrading my camera equipment. Im sure some of you know how good this Nikon Camera is. I thought I would ask here first before it goes on E Bay. :o It would come with all original boxing, discs, cables, a Tamrac Pro 8 camera bag and 3 great camera Lenses. Selling all for £600. It cost me £1200 2 years ago. Pm me if interested.
  12. Thanks guys. I did plug Net-weather in the filming, but it was edited sadly. The Lookeast team were very professional though and did a great job. Thankyou Joel Mapp if your reading this! Seasons
  13. Thanks for putting the link up Paul. My 15 seconds of fame Thanks Dave48, although lots of room for improvement remains so I'd better capture another one  Seasons
  14. It was awesome thanks jo, especially the lapdance clubs at 4am. All the lads remember nothing, we were on the beer 20 hours aday for 3 days and it got very messy indeed. Lol. I have 3 new hernia's through so much laughter. Did anyone see me on BBC Lookeast tonight (Story starts 6m 30s and Im on 8m 20s)...........my throat is a bit hoarse!!
  15. Was an excellent programme Habsish and it was great to see Paul and Stu in there, but one small downer was the presenter. He was very dramatic. Seasons
  16. Lookeast tonight at 18:30 guys. Im on there talking about my chase with my pictures. Please accept my apologese over the state of me, as me and 11 friends were on a stag do in Magaluf all weekend and I still look ruined. Lol Seasons
  17. Cheers Ross. I sent the Sun Newspaper an email about todays events about 10pm and Phillip Case kindly returned my e-mail at 23:00 and asked me to call him. We have each others details now, which is great. Next time I can send the pictures straight off to him rather than leaving it too late. Yes, he that one of the pictures would have made the front page. Incredible stuff...... Seasons
  18. Will do Paul, cheers. Spot on there mate, I was looking East. Thats 2 in a week for this area. Pretty impressive and probably wont happen again for a while. Although Haverhill did have a Tornado a couple of years back which ripped a Hotel roof off. I remember standing behind ITV whilst they were doing a live lunchtime report. Think it was early January 2006?? Seasons
  19. Have spoken to the Sun Newspaper (Phillip Case). He liked the images and said they would have made it in. But it is possibly too late because all the papers are out now and they would have to reprint lots more. Phillip said there considering it though I have my fingers and toes crossed. I didn't have to e-mail them to him either, I showed Phillip (The Sun editor) Net-weather storm section. Sent them to Lookeast. Lets see what Julie can do Seasons
