  1. just as it gets cold enough the front is clearing bloody typical, off topic but don't look at the GFS its a horror show
  2. the radar has heavy precipitation over my area yet it is only drizzling
  3. the front is moving too fast if this were in scotland it would magically grind to a halt and give a good dumping,
  4. light sleet here looks like the band is gaining strength but looks like already clearing the west midlands
  5. if you look on the bbc site the snow looks rubbish at 3am but by 6am it has intensified and last until 9 am
  6. Still just plain old rain here, but any snow i get is forecast for after 4am
  7. bedford is in an awkward place, its not really east anglia or in the midlands, some just say the 3 counties anyway do u think i will see some snow ?
  8. looks like it is clearing from the south west already, and a big chunk of it going east to the south of me
  9. yeah u are about 40 miles further south than me so u have a better chance
  10. yeah i know it was far colder last december, i got 7 inches on the 18th, a truly, truly rare event, im not expecting much tonight anyway, and even if it does snow i doubt it will settle.
  11. tell me about it, it is so frustrating seeing them getting plastered whilst here in bedford i get a bit of slush, though last december we did get a lot of snow for once. wonder what our chances are of snow tonight
  12. BBC weather has snow barely scraping my area, At the beginning of the week the whole country was in for a storm and heavy rain, how fickle the weather is
  13. I live on quite low ground so i doubt i will see any of the white stuff maybe down the road in luton might get lucky
  14. Clear and 1.8c here, and just a slight breeze, wind was mean't to be a lot stronger than this until the models downgraded the wind stength a couple of days ago
  15. GFS looks further south on this run hopefully the 00z runs will put it back north again just a little bit
  16. i don't live that far away from you, i wonder if i will see snow as well but im not holding my breath, i think the lows will track further south and i will miss out on any precipation plus i live on fairly low ground too
  17. Well GFS has the strong winds affecting France, why do all storms either affect either northern britian or France i think the general public in the midlands and south need to realise how lucky it is again that we will avoid a storm.the lows either track too far north or to far south. I came home tonight in the hope that the ECM would offer a cold solution after seeing some encourging ensembles this morning, but this is not the case as heights remain low to our north
