light snow flakes falling here at the mo
happy now to have seen something wintry falling from the sky, but i still don't like the look of the METO and the way its going for Monday (in my area)...more sleet icons keep appearing I hope they are wrong lol...

To be fair, tomorrow was always looking like a damp squib with such a slack easterly flow, only coastal area's will see showers overnight and into tomorrow. Its pretty much guaranteed you will see snow on Monday, how much still up in the air and after the winter so far I'd be pretty happy with a few cm and MetO are predicting more than this. Tuesday is still 96 hours away and is probably subject to a few changes (hopefully better). Best way to think about it is your likely to see snow on Monday leading to a decent covering, anything else is a bonus. Be positive

In what way have they downgraded? Managed to get down to 0.7c last night despite cloud cover, looking forward to the next few days.

I think very light very small flakes starting to fall here now.
i posted about that in my area 10 mins ago in yorkshire thread, it looks like very fine light flakes falling here too

i may be mistaken but it does look like there is very fine snow in the air..under my outside light anyway, had to look when i took the dog out lol, but it sure does look it

according to the METO sunday and monday going to be snowy in my area, that will do for me, the rest of the winter can do what it likes, just want to see snow falling, its all i crave lol

went to bed last night on a high, woke up this morning to....actually not sure what I have woken up to, what's happened? as I cant read the charts, I rely on the posts from the knowledgeable posters, but I cant make heads nor tails of what has happened and where it leaves us, a quick sum up would be greatly appreciated lol

THe thing is that I was reading Joe astardi's tweets about the last cold during December and he was keep on saying that UK will get prolong cold and snow but Piers Corbyn tweeted and said nope its going to miss UK. and most of the models were also going for long cold period but then it didn't happen. Piers was right. Now the this winter we have not seen any thing like this from Piers until now but lets see what happens.
ah ok, so its 50/50 with everything then really, personally i will back the ECM i have very little knowledge on the models and everything other than what i have read on here over the last 2-3 years, only reason i will go with ECM is the lack of support for the GFS, and also because i want ECM to be on the money lol, but all this is driving me mad, i know i have problems and need help as i had a dream about ECM and GFS and the GFS was proved wrong, wishful dreaming lol
