If it all goes t@ts up meet everybody in the nelthorpe arms in south ferriby lol,,,,,,,Lol, the south bank of the Humber will be awash with storm chasers in an hour or two. I am around 30 minutes away so I may end up on the south bank of the Humber too. Good luck all, lets hope it happens.

or coming from the north cross the bridge and up to roundabout then head right on the A1077 or if you carry on up the a15 a few miles you see elsham on right use to be an old airfield pretty high up great views from there allso.. bout 5 mins from the bridge...yep thats the one the A1077 from scunny

good point to make 4 this afternoon south ferriby on the humber when you come out the village and go up the hill at the top on the flat you can see for miles north and west yorkshire, east up the humber to the head of the river, south back towards scunny probably the highest point in this area.. gonna have a nose down there in a bit bout 3 miles from me...

Just south of the humber here, looking good Temp at moment 17c and sunny, cloud breaking up. Heading to barton upon humber later a place called the viewing point by the bridge a great spot to look up and down the river and across to hull...

Really weird no rain for a couple hours now the sky as clouded over and gone dark, but nothing on the radar!!! any ideas..

Just had a heavy duty hailstorm here in winterton n.lincs not big stones but enough quantity to turn the rd white,,

Just had a beefy shower, looked like it came across from the humber,,
then a clear slot to my west then a whole chunk of it, sliding in from S. yorkshire

Just south of the humber, rain for a couple hours then turned to snow about hour ago, was 6c then dropped rapid to 2c stayed around there now...

A good image below of where the snowcover is, and the cloud to the north is very slow moving as it approaches the humber.
There could be some very low temps for a while this evening.
Thats a good satellite image you can see it run down the east side of the UK across the channel through northern france down to northern spain..

Indeed.Clear blue skies all morning, but the cloud is slowly approaching from the north now.
Yep we have now crept up to -4 since 11.30 if i look out across to the east towards grimsby there looks to be a large bank of cloud very hazy but nothing on radar
i gonna keep watchin...

11.30am and now tropical at -7c sun having no effect whatsoever..

these radars are up the swaney tonite just started snowing heavy again yet the nearest preciptation is a good 30 miles away to my east... !!!!!

same thing happened saturday, had cloud on the radar over north lincs by 3pm didnt get anything till 4.30..

nothing goin on yet here, 25 miles inland of grimsby just south of the humber -1c

Amazing been light snow since 4.30 and now they bring out the big guns currently 4cms looks like at least another hours worth but the front seems to have slowed to a snails pace
to what it was buy hey, not complaining

you can now see a heavier band of snow starting to get organised on the radar look north and south of manchester in a line...

Good morning folks, normally lurk in the model thread but have come out the closet today, lol.. -3 here just south of the humber medium frost this morning but sun is making this event feel unreal !!!
