  1. I'm very much excited, to know that it will be cold for the next few days before this system arrives put us in a much better position than I have seen for many a year. Its been a long while since I could definitely say that right now if any precipitation should pass my house then it will be 90% probability of snow. We all know there could and may be changes over the next 48 hours for better or worse but at least it's not a false hope, decent accumulations as it stands right now would make it to low levels on Sunday. That is absolutely awesome!
  2. Well I wont argue with the met office until such times as they get my hopes up and crush them, looking positive for our region. No more corrections now... please
  3. Currently on the mobile, what's your weather station reading ATM?
  4. Dont worry about sunday yet, it was never and never will be the biggest event since 2010. we haven't even had prolonged cold for any period of time, these situations are always going to be flimsy otherwise. This goes for the midlands too, they'll get one flake of snow and it'll melt before it hits the ground
  5. Cant wait to be scraping around for snow at the end of march!
  6. I've know that for years, at this rate though it will just keep correcting south until they wake up on sunday and cornwall gets rain.
  7. I can tell you who wont be getting any snow on sunday, the midlands. < things you shouldn't say in the mod thread currently.
  8. Well, forecast were that it would possibly snow from around 1am onwards in the northwest, its currently 6pm and were not drowning in snow so we're all a little bit depressed. Plus a half ass chart like the euro 4 says no to snow so it's time to go cry into a bucket of ice cream to feel like we belong.
  9. I'm still not seeing much issue, If it were to snow tonight it would be overnight certainly not now.
  10. Those precipitation charts have always been a load of crap, even when they've looked amazing 6 hours before an event so many none events have occurred.
  11. Neither was I, but it's nice to add more excitement to life even if it doesn't come to fruition.
  12. Lets hope the theme of generation carries on through the night!
  13. Has anyone ever told you, you look a lot like jeremy corbyn?
  14. Very sorry I haven't been well these last few days so I can honestly say I've been looking at the models wrong, how? I have absolutely no idea. My wife is back from london now and is looking after me so im growing ever more optimistic. everyone west of the M6 could well see snow to lower levels. I will ramp it up!
  15. I hope everyone more east of our area enjoys the snow, I will definitely be back around when there is something more interesting for my area. i will dropping in with green eyed jealousy to look at your pictures however. Have fun!
  16. It looks like us to the west may well dip out on the sunday, is that a reflection on what will probably happen tonight? of course, tonight we will get nothing also. Also I will be emailing the meto to change there warning from "yellow snow" to "snow yellow" as they are clearly taking the biscuit
  17. This is shaping up to be a lovely setup, it's been a long while since we've had a setup like this that isn't a battle. Very nice to see the cold air will be digging in earlier and the met office mentioning snow to low levels, it's about damn time
