Non stop rain all night and its still at it, wouldnt be suprised if lancashire is flooded again! Our garden and driveway is quite flooded -

Im suprised the northwest isnt under another weather warning or alert for rain. Its non stop garden flooded again and i know euxton lane, chorley is still under water that its almost at the top of the bus shelter! Croston still trying to clear up to. Its flooded yet again at the traffic lights near us and its still bouncing down here!

Just as i posted that last update the wind has suddenly stopped and now its jaffa cakesing it down!

Edit: suddenly the winds just eased as the heavy rain came in!

The wind has been constant here since yesterday afternoon, getting stronger, theres been some rain in the night but now we have driving rain coming in on very strong winds. and the neighbours porch roof boarding is swinging off and about to set off in the air!

Quite fierce winds here all night long, getting stronger as it goes on, theres also been some rain in the night but i dont know how much, the wind is more an issue here at the moment.

Ah right you learn something new everyday! I had to look up what it meant though ANAPROP - ANomAlous PROPagation - when radar microwaves are refraction by things like inversions down to the ground, and are then reflected back to the dish - as far as the radar is concerned, something is there, and so it displays it as a return, but it is not precip!

Not as windy as earlier, had a fair few gusts earlier but calmed down a bit now, no rain at all but yet raintoday radar has been full of it over us for the past 4 hours but nothing coming down? I dont think it will be as bad as anticipated.

What do you mean by not bad?? As in strong or not lol, im a novice here!
