    When we get with that low coming in from west south west is it case the model is being very progressive and steaming it right through. As we get nearer to time block may put more of a fight and go under with a snow avent just my thinking I could be way of the mark here..

    Very interesting model watching over next few days it really does look set tune cold end next week for how long we don't no yet all eyes to north east for cold.. even Darren Bett is jumping on board with a easterly flow...

    ECM as us in a easterly flow with chance of snow showers in the south east not a big freeze. But Cold enough for some snow I hope we see some upgrades with colder weather from north east or will we lose this trend in the coming days.. or are all models being progressive in pushing high away from north east as they tend to do..

    Very happy with this run high pressure building to north east and also very cold air to the north east too if we get some that cold in to the U.K then some places could see snow. Trend is your friend we are going in the right direction proper cold..

    Easterly flow there lets see if this gets more support later or will see a north westerly flow I would like us see some proper cold from the north east with undercutting from the south west with a good dumping of snow...

    This looks much colder easterly flow with some deep cold pools to the north east this 384 hours way so very unlucky but it could be pop up nearer to a reliable time frame lets see what gfs 6z frows out .

    Very cold here winter wonderland in the south east this morning this is not mild to me. Maybe some unsettled weather come wet and windy but not long lasting then back to blocked pattern then a more cold dry outlook

    I think everyone got be patient was we really going in to sudden freeze I don't think so yes we are going into more mobile spell. As we go in to Christmas think we will start see a change dryer cooler settled spell in the south and wetter windy further north and west.

    Very cold air to east gfs still trending the way I see a shot of cold coming from east end of December in to January .

    As Tamara said a few days keep an eye out to north east and john hammered states in is blog mild weather could not last very long ..

    Nice snow day I live in Orpington Kent got in car and drive to Brentford i got there within 40 minutes very snowy kids loved it

    There is talk of some milder weather on the way but by looking at the gfs cold never leaves the south east England..
